Maybe it is not ELF. There are a lot of furrners in OC.
This could turn into a real witch hunt if the authorities don't pin this on the right group soon.

You may get you wish if this fire is linked to ELF. The conservatives in Congress just might act on some bills that Oregon and California conservative congressmen have been trying to get on the big table, declaring these Watermelon Enviralists as Eco Terrorists.

Arrest them and send them to Gitmo. I volunteer to go question them with barrels of Versed IV and my grand kids's Barney dolls that sing 24/7, "I love You!". I will have these ELF terrorists singing like trained birds in a few hours.

I will take Travis, Squantos and Harpseal and a few other friends with me. Between questioning these scumbags we can hold the First Annual Non Islamofascist Cuban Fishing Tournament. First we would chum the water with those we have questioned to loosen up the remainding scumbags.

A fiery spree of vandalism early Friday is believed to be the work of an environmental group that has expressed resentment over the war in Iraq, Montgomery and federal officials said.

At about 2 a.m. Friday, law enforcement officials discovered that anti-war graffiti was spray painted on three Navy sedans and two Navy vans. A large truck also was set ablaze at the Navy Recruiting Headquarters on Presidents Drive.

The spray-painted automobiles included slogans like "Stop the War," "Leave Iraq" and "Stop Killing."

All the cars and vans displayed the signature "ELF," said Sharon Ormsby, supervisory senior resident FBI agent in Montgomery. She said that refers to Earth Liberation Front, an environmental group.

After the Montgomery Advertiser contacted ELF through its Web site, the responder, identified as the Earth Liberation Front Press Office, claimed responsibility in an e-mail to the newspaper.

Ormsby said the group has carried out similar acts across the nation, but she said the group does not threaten people.

"They tend to harm property, not human beings, and they don't target individuals. They target organizations," she said.

Eco terrorism destroys jobs and is a form of terrorism.

The al Qaeda thugs practice economic terrorism as much as they practice their mass murder terrorism. The attacks on the WTC on 9/11 were an attack to destroy our nation's economic structure.

PETA is a group of strong arm thugs which force organizations like Burger King to buy their vegie burgers. Then PETA takes that money to finance ALF/ELF and Earth first.

A lot of pets died/dying today. Doesn't sound like PETA. Or in some weird corner of their sick minds would that be "the ends justifying the means"?

Last I read 7 people have died. They keep finding them in cars.

Fortunately our 2+ and 4+ year old grandkids have just about moved on from the Barney Dolls.

We kept them when they were younger for a 3 day weekend. I would have done anything to keep from hearing that song again. Fortunately the batteries died, and I didn't have any replacements. Our granddaughter would speak to me for about 2 weeks because I didn't go buy new batteries.

Since then we Freeper adults who have been tortured by the Barney songs have felt that these dolls with an endless supply of batteries should be used as aids to questioning Islamofascist/kazis when captured.

Officials blame San Diego fires on arson

SAN DIEGO (AP) - Fires that destroyed four homes under construction and damaged two others Friday in an upscale section of the city were set in a coordinated arson attack, authorities said.
One of several banners found at the sites in north San Diego read: "Development destruction. Stop raping nature. The ELFs are angry."
ELF stands for the Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmentalist group that has claimed responsibility for dozens of acts of arson and vandalism, including a $50 million fire that destroyed a residential development in San Diego last month.
Fire Capt. Jeffrey Carle cautioned that the banner doesn't mean the group was involved. He declined to say how the four fires were set but said the method was the same in each one.
The ELF made no claim of responsibility on its Web site for Friday's fires, and its press office did not respond to an e-mail message.
No injuries were reported in the fires, but people were living in homes just a few doors away, and two of the fires were near brush-covered ravines that could have fueled flames, officials said.
"This is clearly an act of domestic terrorism in our city," said Police Chief Bill Lansdowne. The FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms joined the investigation.
The destroyed dwellings were a few miles north of the Aug. 1 fire that leveled a 206-unit complex under construction.
A self-proclaimed ELF member told the Los Angeles Times this week that he helped torch a Hummer dealership near Los Angeles on Aug. 22 and vandalized three other dealerships.
