I understand your feelings, and I can understand others who may feel the same way, but the fact remains that none of us other than her husband is in a position legally or personally to say for sure what her wishes are.

It is wonderful to see you. I have been on this day and night since I got off work last Thursday! The demons of hell are rallying forces against this woman and yet she fights to live. What is so hard to understand about that I fail to see. I have been given to rather passionate outbursts of late, but it is way overdo to send this communist judiciary packing.

How dare the legislature legislate and the executive give orders at the will of the people. Who do they think they are anyway? God? Oh, that's right. Only the judiciary has the privileges of godhood. < /sarcasm >

I was finishing up charting on a Hospice wing when I first heard of Terri...and was appalled that a non-terminal person had spent 3 years in Hospice. We kick ours out after 6 months. Ain't dead yet, go home ;)

I believe in allowing death to happen.
I been part of allowing death to happen repeatedly in my family.
It if is your choice and your time.
I just don't believe in making it happen. (and no, just 'cause you are on a tube feeding doesn't make you 'terminal'....I have too many folks out doin' things to prove the point otherwise).

Someone needs to email the Hospice of Florida and Felos and ask um why Terri was kept in such isolation for THREE YEARS , especially considering that she was not dying and had not received all other avenues of rehabilitation or cure. That is the foundations of Hospice. How come Felos and Michael were able to circumvent it and put Terri on medicaid, to boot?
