In this case, being allowed to die the rest of the way = withholding any form of nourishment (a/k/a torture).

You would scream for the death penalty for a convicted murderer(as I would too) but a man cannot grant his wifes final wish of dying with a little dignity.

We don't know for sure that that's her final wish. There's conflicting testimony. When in doubt, you err on the side of life because, once dead, you can't bring someone back. If they're still alive, you can always put them to death later.

HE knows what is needed before we do. The fact that Terri's tube was re-inserted and she was saved from death by starvation shows that HE is in control. I join you in prayer and praise.

Gringol, she never signed a power of attorney. Shouldn't we err on the side of life? Shouldn't we give her a chance at rehabilitation?

My gut feeling is that she wants to live. I think four or five days into her forced hydration/starvation she would have just "let go" if she had wanted to die.

Just my opinion for what it worth.
