PINELLAS PARK, Florida (CNN) --The father who has fought for more than five years to keep his brain-damaged daughter alive said when he visited her Thursday, she turned down his kisses, saying, "Uh-uh."
"I was in front of her and I'm kissing her on the cheek, and she doesn't like that," said a smiling Bob Schindler after visiting his 39-year-old daughter Terri Schiavo.

'Do you want me to kiss you again?' She goes, 'Uh-uh. Uh-uh.' That's what I got from her." That tore me up.

If an agreement cannot be reached, the judge said he will appoint Dr. Jay Wolfson, a professor of health and law at Stetson University, as the guardian.I may be wrong, but I'll bet that Wolfson is a stealth-euthanasia advocate, and that this judge is posing Terri's parents with a Hobson's choice.
Schiavo's side of course will present names of blatantly pro-euthanasia types, and Terri's side of course cannot accept that, so VOILA, Wolfson will be appointed by planned default.
If this story about Wolfson's alleged assault on a female colleague is true, then he's a hothead and should be disqualified on that ground alone.

... Me too, it seems the older I get the more sentimental I get.
...I think the reason it touched me so much to read that is that I have a 33 year old daughter and that is exactly what she would say. She doesn't like cheek kisses and when I greet her it's with a peck on the lips or kiss on her fore head. I don't understand this aversion of hers and once in a while I'll give her a smack on the cheek just to aggravate her.
...At 33 years old my daughter is a woman but just as Terri is to Bob Schindler, my daughter is still my little girl.

Wolfson's fitness to represent Terri is no longer of any importance since judge Greer has already decided to appoint him. Facts and truth mean nothing to an incompetent judge. The court system in Florida is so bad, so activist oriented, that is a dangerous state to visit! I and all my family members certainly will not ever again during my lifetime.

The only way I have to donate on line is by debit or credit card, The only time I have given credit card info on line has been to amazon.com and I was leery about doing that. I don't have pay pal whatever that is and don't want it either. Does anyone have a snail mail address where I can send a check?

... grant an emergency injunction preventing the re-feeding of his wife. Now there's a real emergency for you.

Excellent research! Can you bookmark and save it for future reference or, pass it on to Terri's family. You can reach them through the ping link. Thanks.

If this is true, it already stinks to high heaven.

*That tore me up.*
The same night that Terri was taken to the hospital to be hydrated, her brother, Bobby, was a guest on CoastToCoastAM talk radio. He said that when his father went to see Terri, he said to her - "Honey, we're gonna get you a milkshake" and she smiled. Later, she called him - "Dad".

Me too, This morning my tenant called at 3 am to tell us that it was time to go to hospital to have their new baby and could I come down and sit with there little one until a relative arrived.
I got so emotional and then when I got the call at 930 that the baby girl was born and everyone was fine I cried all over again.

Michael Schiavo has declined to comment on whether there is an outstanding life insurance policy on his wife. His actions speak loud and clear on this point. This scum would have divorced her years ago if there were not a pot of gold at the end of his sick, twisted rainbow.

Affidavit of Carla Iyer, nurse who cared for Terri Schiavo from April 1995 to July 1996
FR page about Terri Schiavo. It includes affidavits by some of the nurses who cared for her, as well as excerpts from the parents' lawsuits on her behalf:
The pages start with nurse Carla Iyer's affidavit. Carla Iyer's license indicates that she is still practicing --- see Reply 53. Michael Schiavo's sworn testimony that he would spend the rest of his life taking care of Terri --- see Reply 105, item 23 therein.
Nurse Carolyn Johnson's affidavit --- see Reply 78.
Nurse Heidi Law's affidavit --- see Reply 86.
The first time in court, that Michael Schiavo recollects that Terri allegedly had expressed some wish that she would not want to live, was in the year 2000, ten years after her initial medical emergency --- see Reply 124, item 20 therein.
A bone scan ordered by a doctor, and performed on March 5, 1991, just over a year after her initial medical emergency in February 1990, concluded that she suffered from a history of bone trauma --- see Reply 221.

Greta needs to be (politely) freeped with all this information. Last night's show was disgraceful. Terri deserves better.
