Well that was me. I called from downtown Grand Rapids Michigan, and while I was on hold, I walked and drank a coffee with 3 expresso shots in it. I went to the almost highest hill in Grand Rapids which is where the Veterans Park is situated. It is really a strong spiritual place, there are 10 and 20 foot blocks of concrete with the names of all the vets from Michigan from WW1 on. Some of those blocks of granite where erected I believe shortly after the first World War.

Anyway it was a privilege to represent the USMC and Freerepublic all at once on the E.I.B.

The caffine kicked in right about when I got on so I was pretty jumpy when Mr. Snow put me on right after the Attorney General. Basically what I said was that, referring to the Rumsfield memo, we need to go to the source, the madrases, and deal with them one way or the other. Being a former Marine, I prefer the instant poof method. I also mentioned that we do have a history in this country of not letting bad people hide behind religion. I used the example of how we hit the mormons pretty hard in the 1800's. I hope I did not sound like I dislike Mormons. I didn't have time to say that they are one of the best things we have in this country. But I wanted to make the point that IMO, if the terrs are in a mosque or seminary or church, no mercy. ( not to be confused with waco were, they were not supporting or conducting terrorist actions, unless bible study was classified as such under Reno-Clinton. I must admit though that there was some of that multi - wife thing going on, but hey they were not spreading those views, they were contained. Anyway thats another thread)
