Nah - wouldn't work. If Coulter shot the 'TARD, he'd just assume that it was an aphrodisiac.

10 Freepers to give details on the history and origins of lightbulbs.
2 wise-guy Freepers to say that there are lightbulbs because the Lord said "Let there be light".
10 atheist Freepers to come in and say there is no way to prove there is a God or that he said any such thing.
30 Freepers to say "oh great, now this thread is destined to turn into a creation/evolution thread"
15 Freepers to post 2000 posts, most of them flames, on creation/evolution.
7 moderators (not me) to come on and say please, Lord, have mercy on our souls and stop!
2 former Freepers to sign up 20 new accounts to complain that they were banned because the moderators have taken sides in the creation/evolution debate.
2 other former Freepers to sign up 20 new accounts to complain that they were banned because the moderators have taken the other side in the creation/evolution debate.

Who are you to say that they are not as good. The bulbs when I was a kid were real light bulbs. Not those low watt 40's or 60's with soft glow. And just what is this sissy stuff with lighting consultants. When I was a kid we just climbed the ladder and changed the bulb and it was up the ladder both ways, in 4 foot of snow barefoot. We were grateful that we even had a socket even when the electricity was turned off.

1 to start a prayer group for all those who forgot what we were talking about.
1 to start a benevolent fund for those once interested in examining light bulbs, but now only examine navel lint.
1 FReerepublic ad. moderator to collect navel lint for deleting.
To: Sir Gawain
533 people to post 5,993 messages arguing over whether the light bulb was created or evolved on its own.

This is NOT a current thread.
(Did you know in England, they have to measure amps with a sideways sine wave that only runs down the left hand wire?)
(Since they are upside down in Australia, they have to measure amps using a cosine wave?)
(In France, the current runs backwards half the time.)
(Butt in San Francisco, they bend over backwards to measure amps going both ways in all three wires? Not that there's anything wrong with that, you know.)

It's well known that the Civil War was caused by the evil Abe Lincoln's unconstitutional attempt to put a tariff on light bulbs.

Which reminds me of this:

That's what I'm on about. yankee lightbulbs just have a bad color to them Southern lightbulbs, while brilliant once lit, just take forever to get there.
