Several thousand who believe there was a 'TE#2' (Thomas Edison number 2) involved in breaking the bulb.

Eight hundred who refuse to believe that the bulbist-elect of California ever touched a bulb that didn't want to be changed, and in any case, the former bulbist of Arkansas did far worse, sticking his cigar in the bulb socket.

Three hundred who are more concerned about bulbs sneaking across the Mexican border, getting a free ride on the KWH (kilowatt-hour) Express. Then several hundred more who point out that if not for these cheap foreign bulbs, half of the light fixtures that nobody wants to touch would go unfilled.
