your thoughts? My first thought is that watching sports on television is no better than masturbation. If you like baseball, go outside with your kids or your neighbors and play some.
My other thought is that posting this crap on a website dedicated to "rolling back years of government largesse" is an affront to Jim Robinson and all the others who have spent a lot of time and money to make this site what it has become.
Somebody had to say it...

Baseball is the Great American Pastime.
And we are all Great Americans here.

And someone has to say this:
Call your duty nurse and tell her it's time for your hourly enema.

My first thought is that watching sports on television is no better than masturbation. But the upside is you don't have to call your teammates in the morning.

That's like saying someone should compose music themselves instead of listening to Bach. These men are the best in their sport. I suck. Why wouldn't I want to watch them instead?

We also have a 200+ thread on identifying a spider found in someone's home.
Somebody had to say it...
I guess.

No, nobody had to say it. If Jim didn't like it he'd yank the thread, live threads for big sporting events happen all the time. You don't like 'em, stay away, we won't miss you.

How about watching the game with your kids so they can see the things you have been teaching them? That was how my folks taught me some of the finer points of the game. Passing it on to my kids.
Did anyone see Pudge's interview during the rain delay last night? He is a CLASSY guy in addition to being possibly the best catcher to ever play the game. He was asked about questioning calls by the plate ump. Pudge said he commented to the ump on one call, then dropped it because it is just part of the game.

And yet the admin moderators update the score in the title. I guess they've just gone rogue and are doing this behind Jim's back? Why don't you just ping Jim and have him delete this thread- I'm sure he will if you are correct.
