Have you heard of Kobe's female boxer sister Osaka?

LOL...
Is Bud Selig really necessary??
To: lavrenti
LOL! I'm still trying to get over the FOX NEWS ALERT when Kobe walked down the hallway. And the other FOX NEWS ALERTs every 1.7 seconds for a preliminary hearing.

No, nobody had to say it. If Jim didn't like it he'd yank the thread, live threads for big sporting events happen all the time. You don't like 'em, stay away, we won't miss you.

Great retort. I have an addition, though.
Unlike the left, we separate the personal from the political. That's why we enjoy our lives and don't turn ourselves into manic depressives obsessing on indicia.

I think it should be obvious to any long-time poster that if Jim Robinson considers something an affront, he or his moderators will let you know about it. I found this out a few weeks ago. It sometimes puzzles me what gets pulled and what is left to stay up, but generally, inoffensive things are allowed to remain, especially those which have wide appeal, like sporting events.

How about watching the game with your kids so they can see the things you have been teaching them? That was how my folks taught me some of the finer points of the game. Passing it on to my kids.
Did anyone see Pudge's interview during the rain delay last night? He is a CLASSY guy in addition to being possibly the best catcher to ever play the game. He was asked about questioning calls by the plate ump. Pudge said he commented to the ump on one call, then dropped it because it is just part of the game.

What kind of lunatic would troll a World Series thread to announce he compares watching a baseball game to masturbation?? LOL!!
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
This is out of the blue, but Miguel Cabrera looks like what would happen if Derek Jeter and Anna Kournikova had a son. Anybody else see that?

My other thought is that posting this crap on a website dedicated to "rolling back years of government largesse" is an affront to Jim Robinson and all the others who have spent a lot of time and money to make this site what it has become. And yet the admin moderators update the score in the title. I guess they've just gone rogue and are doing this behind Jim's back? Why don't you just ping Jim and have him delete this thread- I'm sure he will if you are correct.

I should start talking about my wife.
That'll set him off.

Yeah, I like Pudge. As I said on another game thread, he's the kind of guy who you hate for the sole reason that he does not play for your team. He plays with passion without taunting or being obnoxious, and he seems to be very respectful of the game and his place in it. I also caught Albert Pujols on the 6pm ET SportsCenter, and he sounded like a very humble guy as well.

I thought Pudge handled that question graciously and with class.
