Yeah, I like Pudge. As I said on another game thread, he's the kind of guy who you hate for the sole reason that he does not play for your team. He plays with passion without taunting or being obnoxious, and he seems to be very respectful of the game and his place in it. I also caught Albert Pujols on the 6pm ET SportsCenter, and he sounded like a very humble guy as well.

If Clemens gets the loss, but doesn't give up more than four runs total, he'll still feel bad about the loss, but at least he can know that he stayed in the game and recovered enough to pitch deep into the game. That's a better personal ending for him than ALCS game 7. But I'm sure he'd rather get a no-decision with a Yankee victory, even if he gives up a ton of runs. He's had plenty of personal stats. I think he really wants this title, no matter how it happens.
