Since when are your parents and siblings not considered your family?
And you call yourself fair and balanced.
Michael will not divorce her and he is living with another woman and has started a family with this woman. Legally he is a bigamist if Florida recognizes common law marriage. With one child and one on the way, I would say he is married to the other woman. He has morally given up his right to be Terri's husband.
According to her brother, Terri was planning to divorce Michael S. when she suffered the collaspe. There is a very good chance he had something to do with her collapse. He lied when he obtained the settlement and said he would use it for her rehabilitation. So at the least, he is a liar and there needs to be an investigation into all of this including the money.

I guess two things:
1. Legally, Michael (for now) is her legal guardian, and he is her family that has authority for her care within the boundaries of the law, and
2. I was thinking of the Biblical description of family.

With all the hoo-rah, I wonder how long the second "Mrs." Schiavo is going to stick around. She's got to be wondering if the jerk is worth all this.
