OK, I admit I am sort of new to this case. Let's see if I can summarize what appears to be the case:

Some years ago Terri has a heart attack and somehow brain damage results (I presume from some form of malpractice). She stays in this vegetative state for several years before Mike finally tries to have her food tube taken out. A court battle ensues since the parents and family of Terri want her to live. Mike meanwhile has a kid by another woman and she is also pregs again. There seems to be some past here with abuse to Terri and that perhaps there is a trust fund of some sort in her name. He wins a judgment of lots of money for the malpractice suit. He claims to be only following what Terri told him, but to a degree that is almost maniacal. The court allows the tube to be shut down and this takes place. Jeb steps in and stays the court order by legislative fiat. Mike still wants her dead. He keeps the family away from her.

Now, any impartial observer has to ask these questions: why does he want her PARENTS and SIBLINGS to stay away? why with all this notoriety does he persist in this fight? does he have any motive for killing her? was she poisoned with KCl? why, when she was first in this state did he not have her disconnected? why is he so poisoned against his in-laws?

why, when she was first in this state did he not have her disconnected?

Two reasons: (1) Because he wanted to maximize a malpractice award by having doctors testify that she was treatable and would live a normal livespan, and by testifying personally that he intended to do all he could to rehabilitate her; (2) Because he had not yet met with George Felos, his attempts at killing Terri were limited to amateur but inconspicuous attempts at having her die from "natural causes". It wasn't until after he met George Felos that he realized she didn't have to die from anything subtle (and ineffective)--he could opt to outright kill her instead.

It could go down liek this. Micahel and Terri get into a fight because he is having and affair and is an abusive asshole. She tells him she wants a divorce, he tries to strangle her. Whe is close to death, but continues to fight. Micahel gets a malpraictice suite against the previosu docters who had treated her for an eating disoder, where he testifies he needs the moeny to care for his wife and that he want to go to school to lern to be a nurse and bring her home "machines and all" Michale has the money and want to get rid of the wife. Micahel gets a new lawyer, a righ tto die advocate and michael remembers that Terri said she would want to die.

The parents know what kind of jack ass this guy is and that Terri wanted to get a divorce. They suspect Micahel tried to kiil their daughter. They know that he refues to treat her and he is trying everyway to kill her ; their baby.

thi sis not a right to die case, this is a right to kill case.

Add to you summary that the lawyer, Felos; judge,Greer; and others have/had financial interests, BOD, at the hospice Terri was at and just retaken too.

And you know enough in a nutshell.

"Some years ago Terri has a heart attack..."

'Heart attack' is about as accurate as the word 'coma' here, iow, NOT. Terri was never shown to have a heart attack by cardiac enzyme changes. Don't know about EKG.

She WAS found on the floor by Michael in the wee hours of the morning. He said he heard a thump, then saw her lying there (on a carpeted floor). So Michael called her father, not 911. Her father said, "(IDIOT!) Call 911 NOW!". Father called her brother Bobby who lived nearby -- in same apt complex, apparently. Bobby got to Terri before paramedics responded. Terri was lying face down.

Michael had not moved her from her initial position or lifted a finger to help her. He gave some lame excuse later why he hadn't.

[Pause while we consider what we would do if one we were sincerely concerned about were to collapse suddenly. . .]

Many of these earlier medical records have gone missing. This account came from someone close to the situation that I talked to at the vigil / protest. I believe I also saw this at terrisfight.org.

Additional info -- Terri & her brother Bobby were very close, had planned to spend usual time together this evening. Terri cancelled, had earlier told Bobby that she was considering divorce. One of Terri's friends was concerned enough about her that she offered to let Terri spend the night with her.

It was at this point in telling the story that I paused to tell my girls, "And THIS is why you want to be careful when you choose who you are going out with, who you will marry. THIS is why your daddy & I are so careful for you!"
