I sort of feel dirty posting a link to CNN and advertising a Larry King show but.....

You have to be on social security to get on Larry King. That is, unless it is a crime story like Scott and Kobe. His listeners are the geriatric set. With Larry as CNN's prime star there is no way they are going to beat FNC. Mrs. Bush is really too classy for Larry.

Bump
I'll be watching for her to stand up for GWB.

I hope her 'Don Johnson/Kevin Costner' story is in her book...probably not, though.
During the filming of 'Tin Cup' in Houston with Johnson and Costner (several years ago) the Bushes invited the two stars to eat dinner with them at their home. Mrs. Bush is quite a prankster, evidently! She stuck a cup in one of their hands, told them to go next door and ask her female neighbor for a cup of sugar...then hid around the corner of the neighbor's house just so she could see the look on said neighbor's face as she opened her door to (gasp!) Don Johnson and Kevin Costner!! Mrs. Bush herself told the story on some TV show I caught.

I can't wait to read her book! There is also an overview of her in Newsweek! Seems Pres bush's sister (43) was with our freepers yelling "get out of Cheney's house!"

I sort of feel dirty posting a link to CNN and advertising a Larry King show but.....Don't feel bad, Barbara Bush is worth it. Dateline/Today showed an interview with her promoting her new book and she is not to be missed. She'll probably diss Clinton again like she did on Dateline (said when he spoke at Nixon's funeral his appearance and words were chosen with an eye toward his own "legacy" and not sincerity. That's Barbara...telling it like it is).

She's also on "Scarborough Country" tonight... MSNBC 7pm pacific time, if anyone can yank themselves away from Kobe and Greta.

Barbara Bush is just great tonight.
Well, she's great all the time. I'm really enjoying the show.
To: Not gonna take it anymore
Yes, she really is one of the classiest women on the planet. I just love her and Laura. I wonder if Barbara had an orchid named after her, too? I'll try and catch a later broadcast of Barbara on Larry... (TiVO). :)

Oh, TiVO. I don't even know if that is available out here where I live. We just got cable modems.
To: Not gonna take it anymore
Wish I could get it. Barbara Bush, First GRAND Lady!

At the very end Larry said of Barbara Bush's new booK:
"She wrote it all by herself!"
You could tell that he admires her & she appears to like him as well.....but as another freeper said...she's got way too much class for Larry.

Anyone can buy/use TiVO, it works with cable, satellite, etc.
Costs about $200 (or so), and $5-$10 a month, but worth it.
TiVO.
I'm so spoiled by it, I can never go back.

Can't get cable, tried satellite but too many trees and hills. So I turned the $%^&* thing off. Haven't missed it since I got on line. Wish it weren't dialup.

Barbara Bush is just great tonight. Excellent interview. What a fascinating, interesting woman. She is quite the role model. Now that's a book I will definitely buy.
To: freeperfromnj
I'm going to buy it too. I loved the way she said she wrote it all herself.
