Oh, come on. Mellencamp was huge in the 1980s. Obviously, washed up now, though, and is auditioning to be a talk show host on that new all-liberal talk show network being formulated.

I'm ashamed to say John Mellencamp is from the state of Indiana.Me too!
Little Pink Houses and a little pink brain.

My DIL gave me a collection of his sayings if a book. Whenever things are dull on tv and Free Republic. I often will break out the book and drive my poor wife out of the family room laughing while reading his sayings.,Not bad. Beats what I do to drive my wife out.

Mellencamp ends the letter by suggesting that people should learn a lesson from the recent election in California: "The Governor of California was removed from office based on finance troubles. And yet George W. Bush has lied to us, failed to keep our own borders secureWell at least Iraq's borders are secure.....

"Mellancamp has no talent..never did...never will."
I disagree. An album of his 12 best would stand up against the work of a lot of people. Just because his political views are half-baked doesn't mean his music is bad. Notice that he reads "Time" and "Newsweek"; you can see where his perceptions are coming from.

Hollywood leftists worship one God. $$$$$$.
As Dave said, bashing the US in Europe means more sales rev for 'artists'.
They make an extra million there for being traitors...then bitch about losing 100,000 here at home.
If they were not making A NET PROFIT in the deal, they would not bash America in Europe anymore.
They have to sell their souls to support their addictive, decadent lifestyles. They live like royalty, and that does not come cheap.

This from the man who has "F*ck Fascism"

He used "small toen" 19 times in a single song once upon a time.
I care about what he says WHY?

I've been wondering lately why all the rock singers/performers are so leftwing when rock seems to be the favorite musical genre of the hinterlands. Since all those kids in all those garages can't possibly be uniformly leftwing, why in the sam hill are all the people who make it big screaming reds??? Did they start out that way? Do they "sell out" to become big? Or does making it big cause them to become leftwing?
I simply don't get it.
At least there's Charlie Daniels.

Not that he has anything to lose (actually this will probably get him more publicity than he's seen in 20 years), but he's committing professional suicide like the dumb chicks, et al.

This from a man who suffered a heart attack at 40 and continues to smoke four packs a day. Common sense, eh?Careful. You'll have the tobacco lobby all over you. They think they own the conservative movement and have the right to classify as "liberal" anyone who is anti-smoking. Except marijuana. That's leftwing. But tobacco to them is sacred.

The only smart thing this idiot ever did was marry a supermodel:

Unfortunately, she's an airhead, too.
