Jeb, I doubted you. I apologize. You're a real man, a real hero today. Thank you doing everything you could, as you promised you would.

Have to admit, I feel a little silly knowing my family's 6 envelopes of Jello probably landed on Jeb's desk today:) I just had to do SOMETHING!!! I did go to the Hospice and signed the recall petition on Judge Greer, and sent him an email telling him how delighted I was to do that, and that I tried to sign twice and they wouldn't let me. Now we just have to pray for her to get better. Nice job, everybody...

I never called Jeb a murder or said he would have blood on his hands. I did think political pressure needed to be put upon him to let him know how his based felt. So, no I don't appologize for that.
I believe that if we had not seen so much pressure upon Jeb this would be a different story. Saying that, I agreed with others on the seperation of powers issue. I just thought Jeb could find another way, or get the right people in line to help him out.
I think everyone had a hand in this, and I think alot of pressure needed to be applied to a lot of different places.
I did believe the Thomas Law Center Letter gave Jeb the ability to act. SO you believed otherwise, now you think I , and others like me ,should be humiliated for those beliefs?
I sent out over 300 e-mails messages, and have been up for almost a week now, following this closely, and trying to set the media straight, and you .. what did you do to help make this change in out society? What did you do to save Terris life, and how did you make people sit up and notice the culture of death that the liberals have permeated our society with?

I would like to know how many people are willing to stand up and admit their wrongs? Oh, you mean the stupid ones who have an insane DEATH-WISH/SUICIDAL URGE. The ones who will stab and stab and stab at a good, decent, God-fearing man and governor? The same ones who keep shooting thier mouths off about not ever again voting for G.W., another God fearing decent man and president?
They make me sick!

The other day, I was informed that I would be going to hell because I stated the obvious: Jeb Bush did not have the authority to intervene in this matter.

I don't think I got into the blood and murderer stuff (against Jeb).
"Murder in the Making - in The Sunshine State" - by Golden Gate
I consider that to be against all the people and government officials and media who stalled around and let the feeding tube be removed, and then didn't act.
This sort of thing can / (is possibly) happen(ing) ...? across this country. So, I don't know if Florida stands alone. But they are the focus this time.
I will say "Thank You, Gov. Jeb Bush!"
I also want to continue to say,
"W-a-y too s-l-o-w; but I hope that Terri Lives!"
To: Pukin Dog
I think I was critical of Gov Bush somewhere along the line out of frustration because it was taking so long. I also had some harsh words for Republicans who seem to always be pissing me off. So if I need to apologize, I will. Governor Bush came through for Terri and the Florida Legislature did, too. I just hope to God it's not too late. How's that?

I've avoided the Terri threads because I had a feeling I might get into a flame war. I also didn't have all the facts in the case. Can someone point me to a summary of the entire issue, or summarize it as a reply to this post? My impression (which is probably wrong) is that the legal guardian of Terri is being forced to continue caring for her even though destitute. I'm probably wrong, but for some reason that's my impression. I'd rather know the facts of the case before I open my big mouth.

An apology may be a tad premature. This bill allows the Governor to issue a one-time, 15-day stay in these cases. Then what? We've won a battle, not the war. I have not previously commented publicly about Terri but have forcefully expressed to Governor Bush via email my belief that he requires no special or extra grant of authority to ensure that Florida law is faithfully executed. Indeed, doing so in this case positively requires him to move against a rogue judge hell-bent on perverting Florida law for unknown ends. Nothing that occurred today changes that, and nothing the Governor has yet said or done suggests he has the intestinal fortitude to uphold the law against a black-robed tyrant. When Jeb proves me wrong, I will be the first to apologize. Profusely. But the jury is still out.
To: Pukin Dog
Yes, I apologize. When nothing was susposedly being done and it was the weekend, I was very upset. Then it was posted that Terri's Bill was a hoax and that JEB had lied about wanting to help. Yes, I was wrong. JEB did help. The wheels turned slowly, but would they have turned at all if not for the aid of a load of greasy emails? Let's hope the wheels turned fast enough that Terri survives and has no irreparable damage. I don't know if he could have approached the issue from another angle or through DCF and this would have been set right sooner than 6 days on or not. But it's been done and if it's too late to bring Terri back to health then maybe it will help others. This is a good day.
Thank you, Gov. Bush. Thank you, Florida legislators. Thank you to everyone who took Terri into their hearts and made this happen. Thank you, God.
To: Pukin Dog
Honestly, I didn't think Jeb would actually do it, but I sent him an email anyway. Thankfully, Governor Bush proved me wrong.
