The full Senate is expected to approve the bill Tuesday evening.

The Senate voted it through NOW! But the Senate changed it, so back to the House it goes for approval... Terri hang on!!!...

Does it have to go back to the Florida House to resolve any changes?

So does this mean that by this evening Terri would have the feeding tube?

I thought the article was awfully fast for that vote. The article is dated--but the news is great!

Unfortunately, yes. But it does look like the Senate significantly bulletproofed it. In the long run that may be what counts the most.

The process stands where now?

There has to be a reconciliation of the House and Senate bills voted on?

When?

When will the Governor get it, and how swiftly will he act?

Those are the questions I have right this minute...

Ok but if it has to go back to the House, then how long?

If the Senate passes the House bill, it doesn't head to committee, and can be signed by Bush immediately... IIRC.

I've already written a scathing email to my RINO senator Mike Bennett.

I hope so. I bet her husband is not a happy camper. I can't figure out why he just didn't divorce her several years ago. Her family is more than willing to take care of her. What a tragic story.

The Senate PANEL passed the bill. Still has to go to the full Senate this evening.
