The state Senate is expected to pass the same measure today and send it to Bush, who likely will sign the bill immediately.

In the article.

The Senate passed the House bill but I believe I heard an amendment or two. The House would have to approve, right?

Senate didn't pass House bill as written. Senate changes have to be approved by the House in another vote before Bush can sign the bill.

I bet her husband is not a happy camper.

He's filing papers right now to reverse the stay.

The full Senate voted. My mistake with the dated article.

What was the final tally of the votes in the Senate? I've heard no one say yet.

Make sure you ask her if there's any way you can get a refund for services not rendered.

Before I go, in my email:

Florida lawmakers, influenced by a massive and sustained outpouring of support for Terri Schindler-Schiavo, are working to give Gov. Jeb Bush the power to order the 39-year-old brain-disabled woman's feeding tube re-inserted on Day 7 of her judge-ordered starvation.

Following passage of a measure known as "Terri's Bill" by the state House of Representatives late last night, a Senate panel this morning approved the Senate version of the legislation which authorizes Bush to issue a stay to prevent withholding of nutrition and hydration under certain circumstances.

Now it's up to the full Senate to follow suit.

Full details are at WorldNetDaily.com.

The Senate PANEL passed the bill. Still has to go to the full Senate this evening.

The full Senate just voted and passed it (after the article), the committee was earlier.

They apparently put the Constitution above life....like those who support Roe v. Wade....they always find a way to justify their pro death stance!

I think we would be safer if Bennett would get back to his Tallahassee skinny dipping antics.
