I made this Saturday for breakfast and it was extremely tasty. It is a recipe that has been posted before but I made a couple of changes. :-)

Cheeseburger Quiche

1 lb. lean hamburger
1 cup onion, diced small
5 slices bacon, cooked crisp
4 eggs
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz cheddar, shredded or a mixture of your choice
1/4 cup, mushrooms, finely chopped
1/4 tsp (heaping) garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 350*

Brown hamburger & onion then drain thoroughly. While cooking, break into as small of pieces as possible. Press into greased 10” pie plate. Crumble bacon on top.

Combine remaining ingredients & mix well.

Pour over beef mixture & bake 45 minutes until top is browned & set. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.

This is excellent as a breakfast or lunch.
