Oil Shortage:

There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in America.

Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical. All our oil is in Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma, and the Gulf of Mexico. All our dipsticks are in Washington, DC

LOL!!! (I'd never name names, but I've heard rumors that the biggest one is a senator who now claims to be from NY, although "cross that bridge when we come to it" boy and the former KKK Kid and DashItAll and "Osama built day care centers" girl come close.) ;)

(I read your "The Middle Wife" story aloud to my daughter when she phoned last night on her way home from work. She loved it, too! Thank you for providing something we could laugh at together. ... Humor is one of the things in life meant to be shared!)
