I believe that in the last century, FDR, LBJ, RMN, Carter, Clinton, et al, successfully introduced many socialist programs into our government and our way of life and with the help of the media and atheist institutions like the ACLU began systematically destroying the fabric of our society. -------------------------
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened." (Norman Thomas, 1936 presidential candidate on the Socialist ticket)

I happen to believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton were the worst presidents in our nation's history. The man is on FIRE right from line one!!!!
Here's what I'm anxiously awaiting: Hill in the White House, and Bill as the next Secretary General of the U.N., simultaneously...(You heard it here first, folks...)
Mr. Robinson, thank you for this wonderful neighborhood that you have created. You are a patriot of patriots.

The government has become destructive to these ends. One of the main purposes of our government is to defend, preserve and protect our liberty. It has been doing just the opposite. Therefor, it is our right and duty to alter or abolish it.
Yes, they have been quite busy stealing our freedoms and generally running amok for the last couple of hundred years.. (They have been especially active the in last several decades..)
Bravo, Mr. Robinson..

Excellent essay. May I ask whether the attacks came from current Freepers or former ones?

Hear! Hear!, I couldn't have said it any better if I had tried.
There is the matter of allowing all the illegal aliens to come and stay in this country also. Call me a nut case also, if you want but look at the recent try to give the illegal aliens drivers licenses in California. Nothing more than a pry to give them an opportunity to vote.

You have correctly identified the enemy. But in my opinion, even more dangerous is the fact that the media have become the mouthpiece of the DNC. Thank God--and you, Jim Robinson--for Free Republic.

Thanks, Jim.
FRreeRepublic is the finest site on the Web, the only place to go for news and information - and intelligent (and funny!) commentary.
You've built the better mousetrap.
Keep up the excellent work.

I don't know how Jim will anser you, bu here is my opinion.
RINOS are living on borrowed time. As long as we don't have a super-majority in the Senate or House, we will have to tolerate them, because what ever failings they have, they do vote for Republican leadership, which is very important.
If we cn get a super-majority, then we can lean on these people to get them to change their ways or face replacement.
Until then, we have to live with them, annoying as they are.
To: Jim Robinson
You Rock. I could almost have written this myself. A Democrat reading this would conclude that we are both mind-numbed right wing extremist. I would conclude that since he is a Democrat, his brain is leaking somewhere.
Oh, and that great minds think alike, too. :-)

Actually, I happen to think that LBJ was the worst President in our nations history but Clinton was undoubtedly the worst human being to ever occupy the office. In my view however, LBJ did more lasting damage.
