TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

I certainly don't care for the likes of the g/f but tonight she really should take the kid and go to her mother's house. Guess there will be a like-new Mercedes back on the market next week.

Your e-mails are great. Just great. If he has any heart at all, he will think about this.

I never thought the legislature would be able to act in time.Well, there were a few senators out there who were hoping that if they talked long enough, that Terri would expire while they were mid-sentence. I'm so relieved that it didn't happen that way!
To: Florida Mama
I sympathize with the family, but government should not be making decisions on whether your family member lives or dies.
Wow, does this legislator think that George W. Greer is NOT a GOVERNMENT official? He needs a civics refresher course, doesn't he?
To: Theodore R.
If not a civics refresher course, then plenty more appropriate e-mails might "learn him a thing or two"!

Guess there will be a like-new Mercedes back on the market next week.We can only hope. And after today, I really believe anything is possible.

Do you think the Mercedes was bought in ANTICIPATION of looting poor Terri's funds? I did not know that the Mercedes was new. Schiavo must be about to explode right now, and the mother-in-law to-be must really be getting on his nerves by now!!!
To: Theodore R.
Will Terri just stay in the hospice? Or will she need hospitalization?
To: MagnoliaMS
Me too. I can't help it, everytime I think of how - um - ticked off MS, Greer, and Felos must be right now, I can't help grinning from ear to ear.

Hey! You are so welcome. And thank you! I think the child likes Mexican food and comfort food, doesn't like some Asian or Italian food (even though I adore it myself.) Go figure! This baby definitely has a picky appetite like his or her daddy but what's strange is my husband loves pizza and this baby won't let me have any! Tonight I think I may try a hamburger. Can't hurt?
We tried for a long time for this baby, but to no avail. I went on Atkins, lost a lot of weight (my biggest was 195, now I'm 135-140) and within 6 months of starting on Atkins, I got pregnant. Truly the best birthday present the Lord could bless me with. I got pregnant on my birthday. LOL
With as much as we tried, and with how I've looked forward to having a baby, I can't treat life as capriciously as MS is doing. I know how it is to live and love, then lose those people, but it will not harden me, just make me more appreciative of what God gives and how powerful He is.
You bet I'll speak for you come election time. But does that mean I get to vote twice? LOL

Please ping your lists! The senate passed an amended version of Terri's bill, then the House approved the changes, Jeb signed it into law, Terri's getting her feeding tube reinserted, and Greer denied Schiavo's/Felos' request for an injunction against the new law! It's a day of miracles! Oh, and a GAL will be appointed by a different judge than Greer! Thank you, Almighty God!
To: Theodore R.
" Of course, at any time both houses of Congress by a majority vote could under Article III, Section II, remove abortion from any consideration by the judicial branch. This is called "court-stripping," but it hasn't been used since Theodore Roosevelt was President. That's the dirty secret that leaders in both parties don't want us to know."
Well then, why don't we spread the word!
Go Terri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES! I knew all of it except the GAL part, but I expected as much. Now what I really want to hear is some good news about Terri herself!

I hear she is on an IV even now...I watched the House immediately begin work on the amended bill only moments after the Senate voted to approve it.
It is indeed a miracle to see this and the House last night in session.
Glory to God and Many joyful hugs to you my friend.

Please pray for Terri:
Felo's sent a lletter to ALL area hospitals and hospice facilities
stating that if ANYONE reinstates Feeding Tube or IV in here, he WILL
sue them and I agree with you! Also they are (Felo's and Michael
suposabley) moving Terri to a hospital and Bob and Mary and they
family are not being told were at this time. But the order from Gov.
Stands, BUT sill waiting to insert the IV to stablize her at this
time. Lisa

I hear she is on an IV even now...Now I can exhale. Seems I've been holding my breath for weeks. Not complaining mind you. What a marvelous day.
