TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

Your opinion please!! This doesn't sound threatening, does it?
I know you will be getting many emails, so I will keep my short.
Your lack of heart will not be forgotten. God will remember, and so will the voters. I can only be comforted that there were to few of you to stop the bill and Terri will now be saved.

The last one gets me pissed more than anything because, well, do you know how many rapists justify their actions saying, "It's what she really wanted". And that is what MS (which to me stands for Monsieur Sh!%head) is saying about justifying attempted murder of his wife: She wouldn't want to live with this way, it's for her own good.Love your straight talk on this. No beating around the bush with you! You go, girl!

Thank you, Jesus. What a miracle!

Yes, and I have been MORE than disappointed with Fox News, I'm sorry to say.
To: sandyeggo; All
I am sooooo happy! I praise you, God, for hearing our pleas for help and mercy! You have answered our prayers!
What an exciting thing to return to after having to go pick up children and then run some quick errands. My computer is still giving me a difficult time today, so if I am spotty in posting, it's probably because of that. I think a lot of us, especially Terri's family, will get the first good night's sleep tonight that any of us have had in a while. Praise God for bestowing His mercy and love upon us and upon Terri and her family!
And, as a final thought (for this post), don't you just love how Michael has been trying to do damage control the last few days? Now that Terri's death is no longer imminent, he's back to being the same jerk we all came to know and hate.
To: trussell
i would like to contact those opposing what happened today privately. could someone email me the members names?
i am very curious to hear their side of the story...
To: Theodore R.
I'd love to see the look on the faces of Greer, Felos, and in particular, Michael Schiavo. His "honey" better look out tonight, he will be in a rage.

Just emailed the senators, and already recieved a personal email back. My first email explained that his "no" vote was dually noted, and when it came time to vote, i would remember that he voted against my handicapped child... then Mr Antone replied, then my reply back.

Heather,
I did not vote against your handicapped child. I voted against bad public policy and government deciding who lives and who doesn't. I sympathize with the family, but government should not be making decisions on whether your family member lives or dies.
Rep. Bruce Antone

You are our voice, and when we make it abundantly clear what our voice is, you have an obligation to represent that.
My daughter is fed by G`tube 21.5 hours a day, what is called a continuous feed, she would die without this machine. This story very well could have been my story, so in essence, you did vote against my child. I watched very closely last evening and today on who voted what and why. Your job was to represent the people, and you failed in that aspect.
In essence, Mr. Antone, you did vote against my child, and every other handicapped/disabled person in this state. That, sir, was the point you seemed to miss, somehow. We made it abundantly clear what our voice was, and you failed to hear it.
Respectfully,
Heather George

As soon as The Guardain is appointed A Dr standing by WILL start an IV line into Terri to rehyrate her, she is extreemly weak, but responsive. Has a guardian been appointed and if not why and how long will that take? In my experience an AAL only takes, "you want to do this, ok." Then by golly get those fluids going NOW.

Sorry for the mishap

Thank you so much for the transcription! It does sound positive that Terri may not have had too much damage.
This is truly a miracle. Yesterday I really had given up all hope. I never thought the legislature would be able to act in time.

Will Schiavo remain the guardian? Or will there be a court hearing to consider the Schindlers as the guardian? Is it possible such a hearing would again go before George W. Greer? And can't the same limbo continue with Terri's therapy?
Any estimates as to how much money Schivo for the time being has lost on today's stunning development?
Will the Schindlers try again to file divorce papers for Terri?
So many questions for a story that's not going away!
