TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

I barely believe it myself, given it's CNN, but they have actually had decent coverage today--they started referring to Terri as "brain-damaged" instead of brain dead or such. FOX is STILL calling her "comatose" as of last news update! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone, LOL, I'm praising CNN, however mildly!
Keep praying for Terri, that this is in time for her to recover!

Another question? Did JB set a time limit on this stay? Anyone know yet?

There is no Scarsdale. It must be this guy:
John K. Stargel
Sorry, I must have misheard.

Wow is right!
I just got back (left right after hearing the senate pass the bill), and all this has happened in an hour!
What's going on with Terri? Nothing on CNN right now...

maybe they realize that alot of people are onto their little clique...
To: CindyDawg
From what I understand he has the discretion as to when to lift the stay...I may be wrong...But the way I understand it is that the sat is indefinite one he issues it...

I wish we could see live footage or pictures of the vigil after receiving the good news!

Do a key word search on 'terrischiavo' and you might be able to find it.

Yes, Julie, I did hear that the other day! Another step to Sainthood for Blessed Mother Teresa!
This is so wonderful! Last night, I was happy, but was afraid to get my hopes up. Well, my hopes are UP now, and we just have to keep praying that Terri's lack of nutrition/hydration hasn't caused any irreversible damage... God has been good to her thus far in this battle, and I'm sure He will continue to be!!! Praise God!

"He willed for Terri to survive thru the courts. Now we need to continue to pray that it will be His will for her to recover from this."
I agree Cindy. All our energy should be focused on prayers for her recovery.
Excellent wonderful news. Bill is signed and appeal declined. To all those prayers AMEN AMEN AMEN.
Terri it's not going to be long now dear, hang on as best you can.

Any news from the family or on site about what's happening? Interview a little while ago with Terri's brother on MSNBC, I am trying to locate the place on the tape and flip between FOX, CNN, and MSNBC. Essentially he said it's a miracle, but we're not out of woods yet. Terri is holding her own, he said the doctors told them certain signs to watch for (that would be bad indicators, I think he meant), and they haven't seen them. He seemed hopeful, but afraid to celebrate yet. I am trying to type and find the exact wording, gotta go...
