TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

Is this the Church of the Florida Senate?
That's a new denomination, isn't it?
Must be an offshoot of the Unitarians.

Yes, she is going against. Claims Terri is vegetative and someone would have to go back and forth to the hospice.
This way she can continue to feel okay about the decision she made about her former husband who broke his neck, and she had removed from life-support.
To: lonevoice
But one thing, bet the parents never disowned her or cheated on her or called her a bitch.
To: honeygrl
You got it, baby. I will do that.

Oh, and now Campbell gets 30 seconds? Is that what King just said?
To: lonevoice
If Florida law half made sense she would have to put it on paper before we'd starve her. Yes, even her.
To: PleaseNoMore
Yes, because as you know, God doesn't want us to do things that are difficult. He just wants us to sit on our big fat asses and quote scripture like that.

The only one last night that brought up the g/f and kids was the last guy. He did a great job of presenting true facts. Whoever he was deserves votes next time around.

Is it "Bullard", or DULLARD?

To: lonevoice
Sen. Campbell is up. Says it's ironic this bill came up the week they're discussing the Scripps biotechnic issues. He says he thought they were violating the separation of powers until someone sent him a quote from T. Jefferson about people who cannot take care of themselves that brought him back to his senses. He says this human being should have the right to live if science provides it, and he's struck by the starvation method by which this life is being taken away. Says it's unacceptable.

Well, she should have quoted Ephesians properly and said that Husbands are to love their wives as much as Christ loved the church. So much that HE GAVE HIS LIFE for it...The senate can't play God but the courts can????
To: lonevoice
Campbell says he's not sure if Terri's not dying right now. It's been almost 8 days and her kidneys may be shutting down.
