TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

Is it being delayed in the Senate or sent back to the house? What exactly is "being pushed back"?

Any word yet about Judge Mayberry's ruling?
I've been praying he would issue an injunction so Terri can be fed ASAP.

I haven't heard anything. Maybe he is waiting to see what the senate is going to do first because she may need more than just restarting her fluids and food.

CNN just did a piece on Terri's plight, AND are asking what WE think!
Judy&Thomas@CNN.COM is the address they want emails sent to.
Here's the media asking us for what we have to say! LET'S LET EM HEAR US.
My gosh CNN is really covering this nnow! I've heard five short blurbs just in the last half hour. And one decently long piece.

Please see post 1072. Thought you might like to use your ping list.
We're making headway to get the word of Terri's plight out there now folks. This could well be the time to bring public awareness up to make a great dent in this barbaric method of handling folks without a voice.

My letter to malone
Those disabled children should get down on their knees and thank God for the Schindlers, whose hard work is hopefully preventing them from being killed as useless eaters in their own adulthood someday.
Yes how sad to be so inconvenienced as to have to tell children the facts of life - in this country we kill if you are not perfect or if you have brain damage. Scarce resources and all. You know, it's just so expensive to maintain Grandma these days...hope you don't miss her too much, honey, and don't watch as we slowly kill her in the most agonizing manner possible, either.
Those children are so fortunate, especially to have representatives in their House who are unafraid and unashamed to stand up and speak about God and miracles.
I hope you managed to catch the latest proposal in Critical Care Journal, by the way. Two pediatric specialists think we should not wait for brain damaged children to die before we harvest their organs.
Have a nice day,
