The Admin moderators pulled an earlier posting of this item, because it hadn't been announced officially or by the media.
I hope they'll leave it this time, with a caveat that it's not yet officially confirmed. It COULD be true, and if so it's good to have a heads up on it.

Jim King needs to go without a feeding tube for a few weeks.

can we link the pulled thread here now Jim Robinson? or is this still not verified? It was on the website for Terri. I hardly think they would be posting false information!! They are probably MORE accurate than our crazy media!!

You could wait a long time for AP and Reuters to break this. A real long time.

True enough. I'd like to hear from Johnnie Byrd himself, though, too. He seems like a decent enough guy as politicians go...

When I saw the other thread had been pulled, I checked the governor's website and the websites of the Florida senate and house. There's nothing there. The Associated Press also has nothing. If this is true, somebody needs to put out a press release to the media soon.

Lucianne.com has a rule about all postiings being linked to a recognized news source.
When did FR adopt that rule?

The Governor apparently has nothing to do with this, sadly.
The special session was called for financial reasons, not for Terri.
The Speaker, apparently, is the one who is behind this effort.

It's been a round for a long time... unless it's the FReeper's own work...

I thought only the governor could call a special session.
In any event, there's nothing on the speaker's website, either.

Let's hope......

THere IS a special session scheduled, but it's unrelated to Terri Shiavo. It's unconfirmed, but the Speaker of the House is planning to introduce a bill, if he can get the 2/3 necessary to take up new business...

Let me make sure I am understanding you:
You are saying that at FR there can be no threads highlighting press releases of activist organizations?
No one follows that rule, if in fact it exists.
To: Chad Fairbanks
Thanks for the explanation.
