Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the love You have shown us. We are not worthy to cast our eyes heavenward, but You have deemed us to be a little lower than the angels. You count us precious, and in praise we lift up one who is so precious to so many ~ our beloved Terri. We love her ~ You love her most. We take part in her suffering ~ we grieve with broken hearts. Would that we could take her burden, we would, as surely as You carry our own.

May the earnest prayer and petition, the river of tears, the silent ache, the unspeakable grief, may they rise to Your Throne of Grace and return to enfold Terri with the sweetest love and the most profound comfort. May there be music within her soul ... may there be a glimpse of the heavenlies ... and may she rise to greet You when You call her home.

In Your love, You forget not her parents ~ you forget not her brother and sister ~ you forget not those who have labored for her life. Even now, Lord God, we pray that You would lengthen her days, for You are God. Even now, Merciful Father, we want her to remain. Even now, Creator God, we acknowledge that You are Sovereign.

Into Your loving hands we place our beloved Terri and thank You for the fellowship she has given to us as, worlwide, we have called upon You as we whispered her sweet name.

Father, You have seared our souls with Terri's travails, and so many of us have been united in prayer for this precious lamb. I know You are standing by her bedside, along with legions of your angels. I know You are fully aware of the individuals responsible for Terri's mistreatment, and that Your displeasure weighs heavy on their shoulders. Grant them no rest, no peace, no joy, no refuge until they face You and make ammends for their decisions and actions.

Father, I ask once more that You allow Terri to remain with us...but I also rest upon Your wisdom and plans. If, by Terri's homecoming, our nation becomes alarmed and enraged to point of casting out the heartless and merciless from high office, then Terri will have accomplished far more in her sufferings than most of us accomplish in a lifetime. If You do choose to bring her home, then I ask that she and others like her become a focal point for the renewal of our nation's compassion and morality. Inspire all of us to make the preservation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for every citizen a priority, instead of a historical footnote.

You are in control, Father...Your plans are never vexed or defeated. Ease the sufferings of her loved ones, let them know You are completely aware of all events, and that You will care for Terri regardless of the outcome. Thank You, Father. Amen.

I am with you always until the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).

Do not let your heart be troubled, trust in me (John 14:1). I will help you (Isaiah 41:4). When you pass through the deep waters, I will be with you. Your troubles will not overwhelm you. Dear Father in heaven, we place before you the situation of Terri Schindler -Schiavo. We are very concerned because of the removal of her feeding tubes, and because of the videos indicating that there is the possibility that she may be sentient, we are distressed at the suffering which she may be going through. Father, we are most distressed that our judicial system has made decisions on the side of judging quality of life rather than sanctity of life. We see this as a shift in our nation's obedience to your Word, and we fear that you may not for much longer stay your hand from us for the just recompense for the many offenses our nation is accountable for because of our laws becoming more and more insensitive to Life.

Father, we call forth a shaking and awakening of our people to this danger. Father, we call forth a major time of repentance on the part of our people, or at the very least on the part of that remnant of people who yet adore you and your Higher Law. Father, we call forth mercy. We call forth intercession. We call forth Hope. Father, we commend Terri's precious soul into your care and keeping

Mitigate and minimize any suffering, which may be visited upon her. Enfold her in our prayers. Comfort her parents and her family. We do not know the entire truth of the unfolding of events as they took place. We do not know your Plan. However, we do know that you have one. I wish I could find the perfect words to say, but what do you say at such a time as this? How many people have ever found themselves in such a situation? I have a beautiful daughter and cannot imagine the anguish of going through such a thing with her. My heart goes out to Terri and to her family. She is in my thoughts, my dreams and my prayers. Of one thing there is no doubt. That which Satan means for evil will be turned into something good.

Lord Jesus, comfort Terri and fill her with Your peace that passeth understanding. Lift her spirit into Your presence and protect her from suffering. Give clarity and wisdom to those who fight for her and may your name be glorified in the presence of Your enemies. Thy will be done. In Jesus' name.
