Penny up around 100 pitches now.

Base hit.
Dontrelle, the most nervous man in baseball.

Matsui singles almost exactly the same way he did last time.

According to his bartender (pick any city), Wells pitches better with a 2.9+% blood-alcohol content.

I don't understand why infields don't shift against Matsui like they do for Giambimbo.
Then again, Matsui will adjust.

3-2 Yanks. Runner at 1st. One out.

Bernie just tied Mantle and Jackson for the all-time lead in post season homers (18). .....although he's had more AB's than either, obviously.

I don't like this move. I'd like to see Willis pitch in "clean inning" situations, like after double switches and pinch hits. I don't like him inheriting runners - he is nervous enough as it is.

There's a story going around (not sure if true, but it's been out there for years) that David Wells drank heavily the night before his perfect game at Yankee Stadium.

Dontrelle? This will be fun.
I expect him to throw the first pitch into the mesh fence.
The second grooved down the plate for a two-run blast.
