"I think they're stunned at the very different way the Marlins play baseball. Florida's a fast team, as opposed to the lumbering Sox.""Stunned"??
I'm stunned the Marlins actually beat either the Giants OR the Cubs. Does this team inspire ANY awe and fear as compared to the Bosox?

You are a good fan and a class act. Thanks for rooting for the Yankees!

Well, I'll indulge you tonight - how about that? ;-)You'll get no fight from me. ;-)
I'm not sure, but the Marlins look pretty good.
The Marlins it will be, then. I wonder if O.J.'s at the game. He's probably a big Marlins fan now. ;-)

The Marlins don't look like gangsters or skinheads and don't throw at people.

This game seems to be moving along fairly quickly, compared to the Boston series.

You'll get no fight from me. ;-) I seldom do, except on certian issues. :-)

I've noticed a lot of celebrities, but not that one - yet.

But Clemens has pitched over a decade longer than Martinez, so Pedro has many more hit batsmen per innings pitched. Ah, that's right. I was wrong about the ratio, but Pedro does have a higher per-game average.

Yeah, you don't have Ramirez preening at bat.

Gotta hand it to Penny. After being banished from the post season rotation, he bounces back with a great effort. Anything we get from here on is gravy as far as I'm concerned.

Pedro's skills are fading. Relies on smackdowns for effect.
Works.

I have expected Grady standing on top of the dugout wearing mirror shades, a Stetson, chomping a cigar, cradling a 30.06 in his arms during their at-bats.Good one!

do we really need to see high school GPA and SAT scores? thats a bit too much info.

Kaz Matsui?? Import 'em. Soriano hits mediocre pitching, and NOTHING BUT. Even Boone was 20HR/95 RBI man. Another mirage of a hitter.
Thus far Wells has given up a few bloops parlayed into 3 runs by the Fish, while the Yanks have hit like Horace Clark in the clutch.

Sloppy baserunning, failing to advance runners, two double-plays, and cutting off a throw home. That won't get it done against a team like the Marlins, which seem to make very few mental mistakes. Posada's arm will be well-tested this series.

That wasn't me. However, I was in a class at UT with Roger Clemens.

"Gotta hand it to Penny..."Huh?? The guy has been on the ropes EVERY inning except the first. If not for the futility of horrible situation hitting, he should be lathering up the Head and Shoulders by now.
To: NYCVirago
Ok. Clemens is a headhunter, though, IMO.
