Yep, I think they could've had Encarnacion at home.

Boone's head is still in the clouds.

Matsui had a great throw. Boone was a fool.
Wells reaction was pure fury.

Regardless of who wins, the Yankees need to study this game closely. If they lose, chalk it up as a learning experience.

I think the throw would have been up the first base side a bit, but maybe Posada coulda gotten back...
To: Pikamax
Bad play by Boone, bad baserunning by Johnson. The fundamentals, gentlemen, the fundamentals...

An mental error on the Yankees?
Wells thought the 2nd run could have been thrown out at home. Posada makes the call to cut the throw or not by the 3rd baseman.

Regardless of who wins, the Yankees need to study this game closely. If they lose, chalk it up as a learning experience. Good point. I think they're stunned at the very different way the Marlins play baseball. Florida's a fast team, as opposed to the lumbering Sox.

Hey, you.Hey to you too. Hello baseball freepers.
I am listening to the Marlins radio feed online. Can't watch on teevee for two reasons: Fox announcers, and pinstripes.
Thanks for the ping.

One thing I don't like about Wells is that he has a habit of showing up his teammates when they mess up in the field. He's done it before.

No, I didn't. I am quoting the guys on FOX. Maybe it was lifetime. I just know he hit more guys than Pedro.

Boone's head is still in the clouds. I wonder if he heard Posada yell: "Cut one" (throw to first).
To: annyokie
I just know he hit more guys than Pedro. I don't know about this year, but I'm almost positive the statistic was over the last several seasons, and showed roughly a 2-1 ratio of hit batsmen, with Pedro having hit more.

Well, I thought I should always switch to the National League in these sorts of circumstances? ;-)I've always favored the National League. In fact, I've never lived in an American League town.
Stuck with the Marlins, it seems. Who's favored?
