President Bush and First Lady, Laura left California yesterday, and arrived at Tokyos Haneda airport (at around 3:00 am, Pacific time), where they were greeted by U.S. Ambassador Howard Baker. The President met with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi for talks on subjects such as international trade and the reconstruction of Iraq. The President and First Lady were dinner guests at the Akasaka State Guest House, where they dined on Japanese steak and Yakatori chicken, sitting on the floor, but were allowed to dangle their legs through a hole in the floor!
Japan is only the first stop in a whirlwind 9 day tour of 6 Asian countries and Australia, and including the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday. There are LOTS of pictures, many of which could have been selected as the best, (and which I have tried to assemble in some sort of orderly fashion), so enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Yes......unfortunately, he has more support overseas in some places than he has from the RATS at home!
Did you happen to hear Ted Kennedy on the Hannity radio show today??
What a pathetic excuse for a man!

Did you notice how close GWB is keeping Laura? Hardly a picture he's not touching her and just one or two where she's more than an arm's length away.I noticed that.........he needs her on this trip.....REALLY needs her!

I am still of the opinion that gratuitous celebrity worship has no place in American politics.

She just has a glow about her that radiates love and happiness. She has that look that a woman has when she is well-loved by her husband - mmmm, c'mon over here, Mr. Inspectorette ;-)

No, of all days, I didn't listen to Hannity today...I read the thread though....I wish someone would/could stop him....Im still trying to figure out how Sen. Hitchinson got him to the phone.

I read that thread, too, unfortunately, Sean sometimes gets a little too aggressive. Ted, aka "The Floater" (that won't flush), has had YEARS of side-stepping, back-pedaling, harrumphing his way through any uncomfortable questions. Sean hasn't yet developed the razor-sharp zinger skills to deal with Fat Teddy's ilk.
