OMGosh! I love Laura's dress - so elegant - she finally got rid of the BOW - bless her heart!!

Isaiah 54:17 says: No weapon formed against you can prosper and every tongue that rises up against you is condemned already.
These people have condemned themselves by their own words. That goes for the democrats too.
To: GretchenEE
You're a doll for doing this Gretchen. Thanks so much.
To: bentfeather
Hey, bentfeather!
Thanks for your prayers for Eric! They are appreciated more than you may ever know......

I wonder if Laura's dress was made for her in Bankok? They do wonderful beading on silk in the part of the world don't they? And it would be a compliment to wear something made in that country. Would like to know more about the dress.

My son just got home from Alaska, commercial fishing. Has been gone for six months. Will probably wake up sometime next week. You have a joyous homecoming awaiting you too... WIll keep the prayers going for you and yours.
Think what the prodigal mother went through. She couldn't even send her son a care package. (He would never have had to eat with swine if Tupperware had been invented.) We are so lucky.
Praise God for our children and be with them as they are put through the fires of life that strengthn them.

You know, hoosiermama, I have thought often that it is much better to have a son who is off to war than to have a child who is away from the Lord.
I don't take that for granted.......ever. Kids are all born with their own wills, and the potential of making some very bad choices, regardless of what their parents do to raise them right.
I am thankful that our kids have, so far, made right choices.
(And I cannot WAIT for that joyous homecoming!)

The dress is absolutely breathtaking! I like the cut of it, the extra 'frills' and the pattern on it. Very tasteful and becoming (as most of them are) and no bow!!!
