My Dad..thank you for remembering.

Just a bit of ice-cream, the size of a pea, so he wouldn't asperiate, and it worked! They gave up on him. We didn't.

Bless you. Pardon my bad memory, for not remembering who. I've heard so many touching stories here the past few weeks. I have never felt so connected to FReepers. I have heard so many tales of hardship such as one FReeper who says she is dying of cancer. I wanted to go back and respond, but I lost the thread. I will go back and save all the Terri threads, and hopefully be able to touch base with some who fell through the cracks for me. I want you all to know, though, that I love you all, am praying for all of us, and I keep praying that God is working a mighty miracle. We will see. Keep up the faith, and keep praying. Whenever two or more.....

When my father was in the hospital, the doctors said he was brain dead. He was still talking to the family when we visited.

He was in terrific pain and I didn't believe they should try to rescitate him, but I couldn't believe they were letting him suffer so much. He kept accumulating fluids in his chest. At first they drained his chest when it filled up, but then they refused even though he was in terrific pain from all the pressure.

My mother was in a coma for a week before she died. Her eyes were open and glazed over. I'll never forget it. I'm sure she was brain dead, but just in case I would not let anyone say something that could hurt her.

Terri's eyes are clear. It is so obvious there is brain activity there. I don't know how much brain damage she has, but she does not deserve to die by starvation.

I feel so sick about this crime being committed against Terri and her family and ultimately against anyone with a conscience.

If we don't succeed in saving Terri's life, I hope we continue to make an issue of this abuse of government powers. No judge should be able to take away this woman's rights because of something the husband claims she says. He has good reasons to lie in this case. I can't believe a young healthy 28 year old woman talked to her husband about having her feeding tube removed if the circumstance ever arises.

Did she also tell him to refuse to allow her to have physical therapy and mental stimulus so that she could not be rehabilitated? For 13 years he refused to give her therapy. This man must have hated her and yet they let him speak for Terri.

A governor can spare a murder's life on death row, but Jeb says he can't intervene in this case. I don't believe it.
