An appeals court decided yesterday to allow a Florida man to have the feeding tube removed from his wife who has been in a vegetative state since 1990. The husband says he is carrying out his wife's wishes that she not be kept alive artificially. The womans parents say their daughter has shown signs of trying to communicate and could be rehabilitated. (AP) Do you agree or disagree with the courts decision to allow the feeding tube to be removed?

OK...a woman is being starved to death by court order because her husband wants it. Her parents want to take over and relieve himn of this headache. He refuses.
The question for you and all of us is if we want to live in a society where the weakest among us are murdered because they are a bother. The woman did not leave a will saying she wants to be killed.
By the way...Hitler was all for this. It was all the rage then.
Now you know. Where do you stand?

I've written eight letters to Gov. Bush, I've called his office, I've signed petitions, I've prayed all of the time. And, I have been following this case for the past year.
So, I will decline, only because of privacy concerns, and I have kind of reached my limit for today.
This case is too emotional for me, my apologies.

68% agreed with the court when I voted, I'm in the minority. This guy wants her dead for the money. If unplugging her were in the best interests of everybody, her mom would be onboard, and she's not!

dinok,
This poll shows the same results of the poll from another organization someone had up yesterday. Almost 70% in favor of death for Terry. Yesterday's poll was suspected by some of being a little slanted because of the tone of the accompanying article, the Excite one seems to give enough balance in the question. Yet still 70% are voting yes. Talk about 'we have met the enemey and it is us'. Extremely disturbing. The "right to chose (abortion - shhhh it's a secret)" NEVER got numbers like this.
