Raping the victim again and again is a standard perp defense tactic. Defense lawyers don't mind as long as they get paid.

There's no "rape" until proven, and the accuser has a BIG problem: she had sex with three different guys in a very short period of time.
The night auditor--the FIRST person to see her after she left KB's room--said the girl didn't say a thing about being raped, and didn't seem upset. In fact, she counted the money before saying anything to to bellhop.
The prosecution only filed this case when a showboating sheriff obtained an arrest warrant and didn't even tell the prosecutor.

So, are you just going to ignore me? Dont you even want to TRY to back up your statement? Why would you even bother posting anything if you cant back up what you say? Now you have gone and put TWO silly statement before us, and I guess you dont plan to back up either one, do you? Why not spare us your opinion and put a few facts before us?

You might want to stop; I understand that facts tend to give that one a headache.

There's no "rape" until proven If a tree falls in the forest, it doesn't make a sound until someone hears it?

If a tree falls in the forest, it doesn't make a sound until someone hears it? Let me rephrase that: there is no rape as defined by the law until proven in a courtroom.
Accusing someone of rape is extremely serious, and, to put someone in prison for life, there must be evidence that proves rape occurred beyond a reasonable doubt.

District Attorney Mark Hurlbert said the prosecution did not lay out its entire case during Kobe BryantDon't all good prosecutor "only" put on the part of their case that can easily be blown out of the water?
No, you say?
Then I wonder why this guy did? You'd think he'd go with the best stuff he had.

We can be sure that there is more. I think there are significant details that haven't been released. I don't think they've done discovery yet.
The prosecutor usually only presents the bare minimum necessary to justify a trial during a prelim, and they do their best not to reveal the main thrust of the case they are going to make. If they can use a barely-relevant piece of info that has nothing to do with their main arguments, they will, just to avoid tipping their hand.
What has been presented might not be enough to convict someone, but it is surely enough to justify a trial. So, we'll see.

The defense knows everything the prosecution has, in terms of evidence. True, Mackey doesn't know Hurlbut's legal strategy, but it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
The prosecution got its head handed to it yesterday. If that's any indication of what's to come, KB is home free.

The detective's report?
The accuser's statement?
The nurse's statement?
The night auditor's statement?
After all those, I can hardly wait to hear what IS relevant!

And then there's the title: "DA hasn't shown everything"

You'd think he'd go with the best stuff he had. This guy is such a rookie. He saw bookdeals and stars in his eyes, and made a dumb decision to go forward with this prosecution.
Mackey is going to cause him to lose his job shortly. Someone told him that he better get his ass in front of the cameras and do some damage control, but it only made him look weaker.
"Dont worry, we've got more". Yeah right. Before this trial is over, we are going to see Mackey sitting on his back, slapping him in the head, yelling "Who's your daddy?"
Kobe is going to walk.
