Date: Friday, Oct. 17 TOMORROW
The JCRC, Grassroots for Israel, AIPAC AJCommittee, and JIMENA (Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa) are gathering at 11am (event starts at noon) for our silent vigil for the victims of terrorism so Shaath, his entourage, and the audience will take note of our condemnation of Palestinian terror as they enter the hotel.
Meet at the corner of Powell and Sutter (near the hotel) at 11am - 1pm
Please bring yarzheit candles, flags (US and Israel) and signs.
Suggested themes for your signs:
Terror kills peace Peace yes terror no Israel wants peace Give peace a chance Say no to terrorism Terrorism is not a peace process Arafat: Stop the terror Alternatively, please bring a poster that memorializes a victim of terror. You can find information about all of the victims on Israels Ministry of Foreign Affairs website - www.mfa.gov.il/mfa/go.asp?MFAH0ia50
You can learn more about Shaaths lecture at The World Affairs Councils website www.itsyourworld.org
Public transit is strongly encouraged. If you do drive, a good parking choice is the Sutter/Stockton garage at the corner of Sutter & Stockton (one block east of the location.)
Questions: call the JCRC 415.957.1551 or israel@jcrc.org
If these MURDERERS OF AMERICANS are let into the USA,
then there is encouragement of even more of their terrorism.

The problem is the police will probably cordon off a small area, a hundred yards from the perp, so you'll never even get within earshot of this terrorist bastard. That's the problem. I remember a protest once across the street from the Palestinian compound in NYC. The police kept everyone on a sidewalk surrrounded by a barricade at least 100 feet from the street entrance to the compound, so they never really got to heckle the perps. Same thing will probably happen in SF. Bring some electronic bullhorns. (You can rent a good loud one for about $20 at any equipment rental shop.)
