Because, if you're not trying to enlist the support of hypocrites to your cause, you must be simply doing it to annoy hypocrites.Nothing wrong with that; hypocrites deserve to be annoyed...

What a great way to make your case. Post large, bandwidth-consuming, irrelevant graphics. That's a sure-fire way to get people on your side all right. I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take that, whoever posted the irrelevent graphics!

"Or alternately as in denial. He has admitted to being addicted. A smidgeon of imagination might make you wonder if he just forgot to mention on air that he obtained all the drugs legally under prescription."
... and if he had - the police investigation would have lasted just long enough for them to receive a faxed copy of it - case closed.

He doesn't understand the Constitutional right against self incrimination.
To: Protagoras
So you don't have any evidence either? Dang.
Re. Rush again, he's said he'll reveal the details when he's able.
*If* in the future he's charged and convicted of doing something illegal, he should serve the appropriate penalty under law. And I don't think Rush himself would disagree.

Right you are. Got my codones mixed up. At any rate, Cocaine and OxyContin are the same in the eyes of the DEA. Federal prosecutors said one doctor working in pain managment was no different than a "crack dealer", right before they sent him up for 62 years.

Re. Rush again, he's said he'll reveal the details when he's able.
Oh I forgot, they forced him not to say that he didn't do it. Those darn lawyers, even when you are innocent, they always tell you to clam up and act guilty. (or not)
*If* in the future he's charged and convicted of doing something illegal, he should serve the appropriate penalty under law. And I don't think Rush himself would disagree.
Now you are delusional. Your moral compass is spinning backwards. he did it or he didn't, the law means nothing in that regard. And if you think if he is guilty and knows it himself he's going to fess up so he can go to jail or serve the appropriate penalty you are seriously delusional.

Initially, people are not jailed for being addicted to prescription pills...if they are lucky, they tend to get probation. This is my impression as well (in addition to the side offenses that you mentioned). I believe that it is disingenuous to equate Rush's situation with those who have been imprisoned. To throw around a big prison number and relate it to prescription drug addiction (as this article has done) is to imply that anyone can be thrown in jail for behavior that is out of their control - which is simply not true.

A giant joint is hardly irrelevant to a Libertarian party post.
I do like the irony of your posting a larger, animated graphic to protest my smaller pic.

If the evidence is clear, please provide it.
Re. Rush again, he hasn't even been charged, and you're going bonkers. Calm down and deal with the facts instead of succumbing to smidgeons of imagination.

He doesn't understand the Constitutional right against self incrimination. If you are going to lie about me, at least grow some b-lls and say it to my face.
I understand more about the government than you ever knew. And I told you I understood it.
The problem is you think legal and illegal is the same as right and wrong. You are so childish that you think that a finding of guilty or not guilty is not the necessarily the same a real guilt or innocence.
It figures though, for someone who has worshipped government all their lives is not expected to know that government isn't God. To you folks, OJ was innocent.
Pathetic.

The entire nation owes radio broadcaster Rush Limbaugh a debt of gratitude, Libertarians say, because his ordeal has exposed every drug warrior in America as a rank hypocrite. Ah.. typically subtle and persuasuve. No wonder all the intelligent libertarians I know are quick to explain they're the small "l" kind, and not associated with the party of the same name.
To: Snuffington
Unfortunately there are too many who revel in the big "L" party.
To: k2blader
If the evidence is clear, please provide it.You misread, I said the evidence is clear that you are in denial.
Re. Rush again, he hasn't even been charged, and you're going bonkers
I'm going bonkers? LOL, you poor apologists are tripping all over yourselves to defend the boob because you tied your wagon to a fallen star. I'm not even excited much less bonkers.
You seem to have a problem understanding my position. I'll go even slower for you this time. I don't care if he is charged. I don't care if he is convicted. I think the law is BS.
None of that would change whether he did it or not. If he did it, he's a hypocrite. I knew that anyway so I don't care.
And he did it, despite your goofy insistence on the legal systems minutia.
If you really think that if he had a prescription for all the drugs has admitted to be addicted to, and which he bought and you think he bought them at a pharmacy, you are delusional.
