A tragedy is unfolding in Florida at this very moment, and another major advance for the culture of death looms -- unless you help! Terri Schindler Schiavo, a 39-year-old disabled woman, is being dehydrated and starved to death at the selfish demand of Michael Schiavo, her unfaithful husband, who had her feeding tube removed Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Michael is living with another woman and has fathered a child even though he still is legally married to Terri. He also stands to gain financially from his wife's court-ordered execution, despite evidence that her brain damage may have resulted from strangulation.
DON'T LET TERRI BE EXECUTED! Sign a petition demanding Gov. Jeb Bush do everything in the power of his office to rescue Terri from this unjust, undeserved and unholy plight!

Terri Schindler Schiavo laughs and cries in her hospital bed. The 39-year-old Florida woman smiles warmly and responds lovingly to family and friends. Able to indicate yes and no despite her disability, she clearly communicates she does not want to be starved to death.
Yet that is Terri's fate, because her unfaithful husband, Michael Schiavo, ordered her feeding tube removed Wednesday, Oct. 15, to begin her court-ordered execution. Denied food and water, Terri is dying unless Florida Governor Jeb Bush intervenes.
Although suffering from brain damage since 1990, Terri is in neither a coma nor a vegetative state. She just wants a chance to live and try to recover as much as medically possible. Yet the courts, especially Judge George Greer, have found excuses to ignore compelling evidence and repeatedly have ruled against Terri in favor of husband Michael, who stands to gain a great deal financially from her death.
Now, with no legal recourse apparently left, it falls to Gov. Bush to rescue this courageous woman from a court-ordered execution by dehydration and starvation.
DON'T LET TERRI BE KILLED! Sign a petition asking Gov. Bush and Attorney General Charlie Crist to do everything in the power of their offices to save Terri's life and order a full investigation into the circumstances that resulted in her disability. What's more, because time is short, please call the Governor's Office at (850) 488-4441 to ask for action! And be sure to pray that God will inspire Gov. Bush and Florida officials while He watches over Terri.
Terri's family and friends have begun a 24-hour-a-day vigil outside the Woodside Hospice, located at 6774 102nd Avenue N. (near 66th Street N and 102nd Avenue N) in Pinellas Park, Fla. The vigil will continue until Terri is rescued by Governor Bush, or killed. Please join them in prayer.
Her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, are willing to let Terri's husband take everything -- except their daughter's life:

"Over the last 13 years, Terri has laughed with us, cried with us, talked with us, and even tried to get out of her chair," they said in a statement on Oct. 13. "The accusations that Terri is in a coma or is a 'vegetable' are a lie.
"We beg Michael Schiavo, and those working with him to end our daughter's life, to let her come home to her family. We will sign any agreement you want, giving you all monies related to Terri's collapse and any insurance money that may be forthcoming. You take the money. We just want our daughter."
Internationally respected disability rights advocate Joni Eareckson Tada responded to Terri's crisis Tuesday and is helping lead this effort find a way to spare Terri's life. Joni was joined the ongoing protest by numerous defenders of our God-given right to life and true dignity.
It is inconceivable that a tin-pot judge has ordered the starvation of this young woman. All of us need to do everything in our power to rescue Terri from this cruel death. That duty begins with Governor Bush.
Act now! -- while there still is time! Sign this petition and then get everybody you know to do the same. Let's flood the Governor's Office with so many emails and faxes that Gov. Terri Schindler Schiavo, a disabled young woman in Florida, is now being starved to death at the demand of her unfaithful husband, Michael, who stands to gain financially from her death.
There is clear medical evidence that Terri is able to communicate and respond to commands. What's more, 13 physicians have stated that Terri can recover significantly with proper therapy. Her husband, however, has denied her this therapy and has seen to it that she receives only basic comfort care. He already is living with and had a child with another woman, even though he is legally married to Terri. There also is medical evidence of the potential foul play may have caused her brain damage.
Therefore, I urge you to intervene in the case and stop Terri Schindler Schiavo from being starved and dehydrated to death. Please give her time for a full investigation into how her brain damage occurred and how it can be overcome. I ask you to do everything in the power of your office to stand up for this woman who cannot defend herself. Certainly there must be a way to stop this execution.
As you know, Terri suffered a collapse in 1990 during which she was deprived of oxygen for several minutes, causing her brain injury. She has received nutrition and hydration by that feeding tube, but no other life-support measures. Her husband obtained permission from Florida courts to remove her feeding tube even though numerous physicians say Terri can recover with proper therapy, which has been blocked by Michael.
Terri's family believes the courts, especially Judge George Greer of Pinellas, have shown extreme bias favoring Michael Schiavo's desire to see his wife die. Though video evidence has been submitted of Terri responding to doctors and family members, Judge Greer ruled those responses reflexive and "inconsistent."
It originally was thought Terri's condition resulted from a heart attack -- until recently when a doctor other than those physicians selected by Michael was allowed to review her medical records. This doctor found Terri's collapse wasn't due to a heart attack. Instead, he said it is possible Terri is a victim of strangulation. There certainly is enough evidence to warrant an investigation into the possibility Michael physically battered his wife, causing Terri's asphyxiation and subsequent heart failure. For more information about this case and the fight to save Terri, please see www.terrisfight.org.
Therefore I demand you intervene and stop Terri Schiavo from being unjustly executed by dehydration and starvation.
