Born on the lush bluegrass covered pastures of one of Kentucky's most famous Thoroughbred farms, Ferdinand would go on to become an American legend following his win at the 1986 Kentucky Derby and selection as the 1987 Horse of the Year. You are correct; I have never owned a horse, or a cow, or a chicken for that matter. So what?

I understand that YOU would not want to eat your pet. I am not a total idiot, but if there are those who wish to consume horsemeat, let 'em. As long as its NOT a "pet", or something like that, I don't see the problem, nor do I think others should try to "prevent" them from doing so. Just my opinion...

People have the right to be gay, make horrid statements about their country, have children with no father, have abortions and unplug their wives from life support.

Actually no. Rights are given by God. With the possible exception of making horrid statements about their country all the above behaviors are prohibited by the Bible. We have no right to murder or permit abomination or to commit fornication (which is where bastard children come from)

We do have the right to dispose of our property as we please. The only question is if that disposal is proper stewardship.
