Timothy Geithner, Treasury Department official during the Clinton administration, was named to be the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Mr. Geithner is expected to assume his duties in mid-November, the bank said in a news release.

42 is pretty young for such a position - the President of the NY Fed is particularly important because the person always has a vote on the FOMC.
Anyone know anything about this guy?
