Oh no! Zimmer is gonna cry to the press again. Waaaah... Zimmer has since said that he doesn't think Pedro needs to apologize to him. He also said that it was his fault for charging him. Do you still think Zimmer's press conference was phony?

Cowboy puke bump.
Since when do New England Chowds lay claim to anything cowboy?
Like I said
Cowboy puke bump.

Surely the high winds in NYC today will be a factor in this game!

Wind should be a factor today. Frequent gusts to 35mph here in central New Jersey. Fly balls will be interesting.

Nah. In the Bronx, they only interfere over the outfield fences.

In an interview earlier today on the Mike and Maddog show, Zim told Mike he'll be bringing in the helmet for today's game. Maddog:
"Little Petey, meet big Mr. Johnson!"
btw-theeeeeeee Yankees win it!

I would have respected him more if he had said 'I wish I had knocked Pedro's head off.' and 'Pedro had it coming.'

Let me summarize: The Yanks win, the yanks win. Oh the poor Red Sox Fans. They'll now have to focus on the Pats, Bruins, and Celtics. LOL! We shall see. If the Yankees lose, their "fans" will have to:
1. Get their Mets hat out of the closet and put away their Yankees shirt.
2. Root for the Islanders, Devils, or Rangers, whichever team is doing well that year.
3. Root for the Jets, Bills, or Giants, whichever team is doing well that year (probably none).
4. Have Jeff Nelson and Karim Garcia help a couple of the CrimiKnicks break out of jail so the Knicks don't totally suck.
5. If the jail break doesn't work, root for the Nets.

Am I the only one who HAS to mute the TV and turn up the radio broadcast of the Sox/Yankmee games? Those guys are utterly horrible! Even when they're not kissing the Yankmees a$$es they're unbearable.

Root for the Jets, Bills, or Giants, whichever team is doing well that year (probably none). The Bills? It's almost a 7-hour drive from Orchard Park to Yankee Stadium. Worlds apart. Don't confuse Buffalo with NYC!

The terms "cowboys" and "skinners" were widely in use during the American Revolution to denote the opposing militias (pro-American, pro-British) who fought in the area around New York City, northeast New Jersey and southern Connecticut. The "Cowboys" was the nickname of DeLancey's Refugee's, a Loyalist unit of dragoons recruited around 1777, largely in Westchester County NY. They earned their nickname because of their frequent successful raids into the countryside to capture cattle for the British Army in New York.
