I hope we get some rain out West this winter.
Hope you guys and gals back East don't get too stormed on.
Should be all over but the cheering on the FReepathon thread tomorrow at this rate.
FR is become both a virtual tavern and digital oasis.
Here we be, gathered again in the house that Jim built..(and John and all the rest of the maddening crew behind the scenes.)
Thanks to all of you who bump the threads and slip the check in the mail or use PayPal to keep FR running.
And to All prospective monthly donors.. Try it! You'll Like IT!
God Bless America!

The wind has been directly out of the east and is none too warm. But I also live only 15 miles from the Atlantic.
I was running around here closing windows earlier because it was getting down right chilly, I even put on a sweat shirt!!! I am not looking forward to changing for sleeping purposes.

Esther and Sally, two elderly widows in a Florida adult community,
are curious about the latest arrival in their building -- a quiet,
nice looking gentleman who keeps to himself.
Esther says," Sally, you know I'm shy. Why don't you go over to
him at the pool and find out a little about him. He looks so lonely."
Sally agrees, and later that day at the pool, she walks up to him and
says, "Excuse me, mister. I hope I'm not prying, but my friend and
I were wondering why you looked so lonely."
"Of course I'm lonely, he says, "I've spent the past 20 years in
prison."
"You're kidding! What for?"
"For killing my third wife. I strangled her."
"What happened to your second wife?"
"I shot her."
"And, if I may ask, your first wife?"
"We had a fight and she fell off a building."
"Oh my," says Sally. Then turning to her friend on the other side of
the pool, she yells, "Yoo hoo, Esther, he's single."

Good night, Norm.
You can have all the rain - it's yours - I sure don't want it.
FR is become both a virtual tavern and digital oasis.
The one and only thing I miss about not living in Delaware is the local taverns - there aren't any here. So whether or not I am indulging in adult beverages, FR has become my local pub!!!
Since I plan to hit the pillows shortly, like you, I expect to see the fireworks when I return tomorrow. That's a good thing!!!
God bless and sleep well.

The wind and the rain have picked up majorly - if I suddenly disappear it is because I have lost either my power or my phone line.
Based on my experience with Isabel, it will be the phone lines that go out before the electricity.
