His judicial appointments will likeliest be what most delights or enrages those of us engaged in social issues. Right now, I think they're the greatest unknown factor.

"You honestly, for a split second, think you" and your ilk offering nothing but restating any direct question in a sophist, rehortical manner in the desperate attempt to avoid the real issues CA faced both before and after the election is supposed to make them go away? You honestly believe posting amatuerish graphics post election and before the man's even been sworn in is discussing the issues? If so you're more delusional than your posts would suggest.
Who's acting like the baby? You guys were, and you still are.
Calling you on your childish postings and continued attacks on Arnold simply because your man LOST HIS ASS is anything but acting like a baby. But your childish graphics and inability to accept defeat fit that description to a tee!
That's why you have to argue like liberals-you can't talk about issues.
And posting disparaging graphics about a candidate you campaigned against AFTER YOUR MAN LOST is "talking about issues"? You're fooling no one, other than perhaps yourself.
Where are those spending cuts from your allegedly fiscal "conservative"? Sure he didn't want to talk about them during the campaign, but now that isn't a problem, yet now he's still not being specific. The only thing he is making noises about is whining for a Federal bailout. I hope that doesn't happen, CA needs real cuts in the budget, not a bandaid.
The man's not even governor yet and you're attacking his record/performance?! Do you not have any control over how asinine you allow yourself to sound? Apparently not.
Please tell me they don't let you drive.

So I'm childish because I'm childishly childish? Brilliant... as usual South40.
The man's not even governor yet and you're attacking his record/performance?!
The nerve! How dare I ask "where's the beef!" I should have just drank the koolaid and been a happen little Groupie like you. Apparently the water is really nice, I should just hop in.
I'll wait, thanks, its more obvious every day you were wrong due to the silence coming out of his transition team. So I'm "attacking" the poor Gov elect for riding in because of a fiscal crisis... but not offering a fiscal solution? That's me, always a buzz kill.
I can wait since you are so certain he will, can you?
Please tell me they don't let you drive.
Actually, not until SB60, lets hope (R)nold continues talking out of both sides of his mouth and doesn't magically get the Leg to repeal that.

Yeah you know, you know everything...except the issues.
The only things that mattered.
Course to the average liberal its only about aquiring power too, the policies and platform and their effects just get in the way.
I disagreed with many about the overusage of the term "RINO" but your fear/avoidance of the fiscal issues that have thrown you in such a tizzy leads one to at least say you are CINOs. Enjoy your win. All hail the Governator. All hail!

Keep posting your childish graphics if you think doing so is "discussing the issues". lol!
Actually...your idiocy does provide a nice contrast to the real world. Keep up the good work.

Keep up the good work.Wow, after using the word childish so many times, I never thought you could be so sweet. You know what, I thought you were a feckless sellout celebrity worshiper, but I'm sorry for feeling that, YOU'RE ALRIGHT!
Best wishes South40

And in that, Shultz says, the new governor reminds him a lot of another California governor.
``You people in the press got Ronald Reagan wrong, too,'' says Shultz, who served as Reagan's secretary of state after heading Treasury in the Nixon and Ford administrations. ``Everybody said, `Oh, he's just an actor, he's vague, intellectually he's not up to snuff.'
``Reagan didn't mind. I don't think Arnold does either. Reagan even cultivated that image -- he wanted to be underestimated. And while everybody was sort of laughing at him, he just blew right by them and walked off with all the prizes. I think Arnold might do the same.''
Oh, oh! Soon we're going to have poster Reagan Man huffing and puffing that Schultz doesn't know what he's talking about because, he, Reagan Man, knows Reagan and Arnold so much better than others who have actually worked with both and can definitively say that Arnold's nothing remotely like Reagan.

On the other hand, you've got the problem of retiring all this debt that's been piled up. Warren knows something about restructuring debt, you know. That's where Warren can help.'' I've read before that Arnold was compartmentalizing his advisors. And this makes a lot of sense. This is Warren's forte - using him where he is best, and ignoring him where he isn't (tax rates) is the sign of a good manager.
All gov'ts have gotten so large and unwieldy that I think we're getting to a time when good managers are the best leaders - instead of the smartest, or the best politicians or whatever.
Until we find some who are charismatic enough andbrilliant enough to slash the size of gov't, that is. But I don't see that one yet.

Dan, your observation is spot on and deserves a repeat!
You know what's sticking with me now, a week later?
What a remarkably CLEAN and ISSUES-FOCUSED campaign Schwarzenegger ran. I don't know if I can even remember such. He said nothing negative about McClintock, ever (unlike McC); and said little about Davis beyond that he'd mismanaged and needed to go.
I really think it was remarkable in that regard. He was positive, focused, disciplined, never thrown off his stride -- media weasels to the contrary notwithstanding.
