[history]
Rush Limbaugh is off the air. But his critics are only just now getting on his back. As he tries to kick his prescription drug habit, those who hate him are just kicking him. I say, give it a rest.

The War on Drugs has NEVER been a theme of Rush's, major or minor. I've heard his entire show probably one thousand times, and I can't remember the subject even coming up.
Anyway, WOD is far different from "The War on Painkillers".

They just care about getting their drugs, man. Gotta have the state stop messin' with their drugs, man. They got on the "medical marijuana" bandwagon as if they really cared about the pain of cancer patients, when in actuality it's because they want their recreational drugs, man.

I remember Neil getting alot of heat when Teri Garr came out announcing her MS and people pointed fingers saying he should do the same.
Dammed if you do, damned if you don't.
I LOVE Neil Cavuto. I was hoping he'd fill in for Rush this month.

I had a news director tell me at the outset of my TV news career that no one will blow your horn, it's up to you. That's right! Rush made it a point of reminding his listeners, whose numbers grew by the hour, it was HE that pointed-out the foibles of the left. In that way, they would recall who it was who told them about the left's
ways of operating so that they could recognize when they were being manipulated and womanipulated. Is it against the law that one is incapable of commenting on social concerns if one is supposedly addicted to a pain killing drug? At what point did the addicted give up their right to speak to the issue? Rush's addiction doesn't stem from recreational use, it stems from real and unrelenting pain. NEWSWEAK has been skewered enough time by Rush that it is their way of getting back. And in their way, they prove just how right he is about them and their ilk.

Neil Cavuto is a class act. A realist with a sly sense of humor and a lot of humanity.

I do know Charles is in a wheel chair but am not sure if it is MS as well. Could be another ailment that is just as horrible as MS. Charles Krauthammer is a paraplegic, and has been since his younger days. In fact, I believe that he went through Harvard Medical School in a wheelchair. He is a psychiatrist.
His on-line bios don't mention this, probably because he doesn't want to be considered a "victim".

Limbaugh became adicted as a result of a doctor's prescription, not some recreational lust. More from you would be mere vomit.

I'm an ass because I comment on the fact that someone who daily extoles the fact that he's a "man you can trust in a Motel 6 with your wife or your daughter" cannot be trusted in my bathroom medicine cabinet?
If you don't know the difference, and apparently you don't, I pity you. BTW do you have illegal drugs in your medicine cabinet?

Been Listening to The Great One for ten years and haven't missed much and I can say "you are wrong"
so try again or go over to the du and pile on.

The War on Drugs has NEVER been a theme of Rush's, major or minor. As I proved above, Rush has repeatedly stated his supported for Drug prohibition, even within the last few months. Now that his ass in the drug warriors' crosshairs, though, he's hiring high priced defense attorneys, ratting on his suppliers, and checking himself into a rehab center to try to avoid the incarceration that he has advocated for others. He's a first class hypocrite who has ruined his credibility.

I admire Mr. Cavuto a lot among the Fox commentators and his opinion re Rush is great. It mirrors my own.

You and Kiss Me Hardy are both jerks.

Anyway, WOD is far different from "The War on Painkillers". The prescription painkillers Rush was taking are listed on the federal drug abuse statistics just like cocaine and heroin, and illegal users of "prescription medication" are subject to being severely punished and imprisoned just like users of other drugs are (albeit not as severely as the users of ghetto drugs like crack are).

Where is your evidence that Rush went after the war on drugs week after week?
He didn't.I never agreed with his hard line on the war on drugs but totally agreed with the other 95% of what he had to say.Kinda like I can apreciate Bob Marleys music without smoking pot or growing dreadlocks
