I take it for granted that since no mention was made of political affiliation that Henry is a Democrat. No?

Yes, Steve Henry is a Demo.

That it's an SUV may be very important if the higher seat of the driver made it difficult for her to see the cyclist. I've never been in a Lincoln Navigator so I don't know.

Did notice she was calm at first, but when hubby arrived she was crying.
That's pathological possibly.

I bicycle quite a bit. I always try to be aware when the sun is before me and drivers can not see me. I try very hard to avoid this type of situation.

Cyclist killed in collision with SUV driven by Heather HenryI guess the guy is somehow more dead if he's hit by an SUV as opposed to a Caprice.

I thought only evil republicans drove SUVs. Hmm.
To: Investment Biker
Maybe she was just a lousy driver and the sun had nothing to do with it.
$10 says she was on her cell phone.

I drive a suv and I am not sure there was anti-suv bias in this article. The facts were as stated. She was driving an suv. This cyclist would have been just as dead if stuck by a geo metro but Heather may have been hurt. In that sense the SUV proves its worth as a safer vechile for the operator.

He thought about running for gov, but his association with the unpopular Patton kept him out of the race. This chick is a former Miss Kentucky and Miss America. I think most Miss Americas lean GOP-- but not her, I guess.

Actually, the higher seat in SUVs generally makes it EASIER for drivers to see what's around them.

"I guess the guy is somehow more dead if he's hit by an SUV as opposed to a Caprice."Actually, he'd be more dead if he were struck by an SUV driven by Jerrold L. Nadler.

One of the first things my parents told me was, "Don't
ride your bike in the street." Gee, I was smarter at
six than all those fools today riding their bikes down a
busy city street, thinking those cars are never going to hit them.
