A get well card/petition for Rush

I have a web site that I can create a get well card to Rush, but I would like to know if anyone would like to help me write it? It will be more like a petition where anybody can go to it, sign it and also leave a special message for Rush. I'm hoping that through FreeRepublic and Freepers sending it to friends we can collect several thousand signatures in the next 30 days. Hopefully a 24/7 subscriber to Rush's web site can notify him of this card of support.

Once we can come up with a good one I'll post the link to the card here and post it to the hot topic list on the right.

I'll help write it. I also have a powerful host site that I'm not using yet. It supports .jsp, .php among others. I think that is a fine idea.

I can use a site that specializes in petitions and should be able to handle whatever hit rate we give it.

Yes "we luv you man", but also that are prayers are with him to overcome that nasty addiction.

Prayers for an end to the addiction are important, but we might also do well to pray for the health of his liver. Metabolizing these quantities of painkillers probably put quite a hammering on it.

I am also a 24/7 member and I'd be glad to send him anything you all would like as well. Also...how do we know he's going to get it? Are their computers and e-mail in rehab? I think there are?

Why don't you join us at Rush 24/7? A big surge in membership of his web site would be the most welcome card of support for him.

I haven't checked the website since right after his show Friday when much of the information (pics) were black. I hope they're going to keep it going with updates!

It's back up now. Friday afternoon after his show every one of the pictures was totally BLACK. So spooky and sad looking! Thank goodness his crew is so good. I'm sure they'll stay on top of things in his absence - now that it's back up.
