Governor Candidate Fern Shubert Tours Western NC!

Senator Fern Shubert, Republican Whip, toured Western NC for three days this week, ending with the 11th Congressional District's Golden Elephant Awards Dinner. The citizens we came in contact with were as kind as anyone could possibly be, and the enthusiasm for Fern's positive message was greatly received. Fern appeared on WISE Friday morning with Bill Fishburne, and WWNC on Friday afternoon with Tony Dale. A local cable show (Channel 10) will carry an interview with Fern Shubert this coming week, and look for interviews with Fern in local newspapers.

From Asheville to Sylva, Bryson City, Hayesville (Rob Tiger's store here is great!), Robbinsville, and Murphy, Fern Shubert, candidate for Governor, took the tour, leaving literature at local papers and radio stations in various towns. Thank you to all who made our trip grand, and for all the invitations to come back to your area to speak more on the topics Fern addressed. Dear snopercod, Fern will not overlook Transylvania County, you can count on that. The burdensome load this current Governor and Democrat-led legislature has put on small businesses is inexcusible and driving out jobs, especially to the surrounding states! Fern Shubert will change that; she is a Certified Public Accountant and can find the ways to try to keep jobs here first, and pull new companies here, too! I am one of her staff members, and I believe in Fern Shubert. I believe she is the Governor we need at a crucial financial time in our state.
