I had to claw my way past a throng of protestors outside a Vons supermarket parking lot this evening. They weren't protesting outside the store, but outside the parking lot that served ALL the stores. Holding signs with slogans written in Spanish.

They don't want to pay any of their own health insurance costs.
They are not paid real high, but get a great free set of benefits and a good retirement package.

I do not really blame the workers for this one. They wanted to cut their retirement package and healthcare. They paying people 17.00 an hour to cross the line but no benifits.
