Homosexual agenda promoted in the new children’s movie “Good Boy”
Posted on 10/12/2003 6:17:53 PM PDT by mandingo republican
The homosexual agenda is being promoted in the new Jim Henson Productions childrens movie titled Good Boy. I took my niece and nephew to see this cute movie about dogs who talk. Its a kids movie overall but I was shocked to find how the leftist Hollywood establishment tries in very subtle ways to get its cultural agenda across. I dont know if the kids picked it up, but I suspect that its been done before and it will continue to happen in the future. Its like a veiled form of conditioning a brainwashing of sorts, designed to alter perceptions of the world and culture around us. It can be seen in television shows especially in programming for children. Today on the Disney channel one of the shows was on dating the kids where about 13 or 14. My 7 year old niece was watching it. Gone are the days of Father Knows Best or even the corniness of the Brady Bunch.
In the movie there was a 30 something man who owned a dog which the little boy (the lead character in the movie) walked daily. No big deal right? The only thing wrong with this was that in many later scenes the man was seen living in his home with another man. They were always together exactly like the other married couples in the movie. You would see them cleaning the pool, going to work, or decorating their home. I thought I was seeing things, until I asked my wife if she picked up the same thing. She said yes, and along with my sister she could not understand why this was needed in a childrens movie.
Is nothing scared anymore? Are we that far gone as a culture that even in a movie which we take our children we continuously have to be bombarded by images and messages that homosexuality is a normal and accepted lifestyle? I just thought the showing of this homosexual couple was a very subversive trick to get kids on board with a liberal mindset at a very early age. I want to take the kids to see an innocent movie about dogs who talk not a movie about how OK homosexual marriage is.

Speaking of "Christ's sake," when is the last time you saw a Protestant cleric treated sympathetically or even with a modicum of dignity on the screen? "Christians persecuted? In America? Open your eyes -- it's happening right now
Persecution -- that's the name for it. Tolerance might be the highest virtue in our popular culture, but it doesn't often extend to Christians these days.
Christians are increasingly being driven from public life, denied their First Amendment rights, and even actively discriminated against for their beliefs.
In this relentless exposé of political correctness run amok, best-selling author David Limbaugh rips apart the liberal hypocrisy that condones selective mistreatment of Christians in the mainstream media, Hollywood, our schools and universities, and throughout our public life."

Aunt Bea and Clara Edwards were quite the item, people used to talk about Howard Sprague and Goober. The Skipper was out of the closet (how come he and Gilligan shared a cabin?)
Remember Mr. Mooney from the Lucy Show? Dr. Smith from Lost in Space, at least 2 of the kids from 8 is Enough, the butch chick from "Facts of Life", Radar O'Reilly from MASH, Felix from The Odd Couple, the dude with the freaky hair from Room 222, Beaver's friend Larry Mondello....
Open your eyes people, its a conspiracy!!!!
(sarcasm mercifully turned off)

Gee, I used to live in a townhouse with TWO other guys. Thanks for pointing out that, unbeknowst to me or my other two housemates, that we were promoting a homosexual agenda. Dang, I must have missed the gay orgies.
Hint: some people have room-mates that are just that, room-mates. It's especially common in Cities.
Duh. . .

What the hell are you talking about? I saw the movie this weekend and didn't see anything of the kind. I suppose if you try to find innuendo in any movie you will be successful. Maybe there is a position open for you in the Taliban's censorship bureau.
Next time, either relax and enjoy the film or just stay home.

I notice that all the shows you listed were in reruns when I was a kid. Have you just awakened from a coma or something?

or just stay home. That's the wisest idea yet. Boycott liberal media.

I do agree with you there. We do own two TVs but don't even bother to pay for cable. Our two small children watch some shows but mostly videos....soon to be DVDs. I do think the days when shows could show straight people of the same sex as "just roommates" are over. It is a sad but true thing in our society now.

Howdy back! After thinking on all the good shows of the past I think I am going to go to bed depressed now. My hope is I can get them all on DVD someday.

"Soon to be DVD's"
Geez, and you say I was in a coma?
I was a DVD early adopter, it bugged the hell out of me that no video store would rent them, but now that they are priced so cheap, they are killing Blockbuster and Hollywood, which is good, I can never find any of the films I want to see (classic, foreign, independent) at any of their stores. I get my DVD's for rent at the local library.

don't forget the scene where the boy dog mounts the other boy dog and when the little dog mounts the cat...very sadistic.

That's why I buy the movies. We take a refreshment break at fast forward parts. I took JJ (3) to see Nemo. He started screaming "what happened Granny?" during the shark scene. His mom and dad agreed that from now on we go see them first and buy the movie if there are sceens we are concerned about.

Yeah I know. I found out my hubby and I were in the dark ages last Christmas at Blockbuster. Tried to rent "A Christmas Carol" and almost didn't find a video format. It's on the wish list. Our VCRs still work though and for the kids that's okay. But we will have to join the present soon.

I load up on DVD's when I go to Asia, very cheap very current and more or less black market...

I was more worried about the portrayal of the dentist than the shark. At least I could blame the shark for being a shark. Kiddo #1 has never had a problem with the dentist and I didn't want it to start there. :D
