At the Montgomery County Young Republicans Annual Bruce Fox luncheon Saturday, Congressman Pat Toomey said he is strongly considering a run for the U.S. Senate in 2004. Included in the audience: County Commissioner Jim Matthews, state representatives, committee members and activists. (01/06/03)

Wow, that's big news! Alright folks, what are the odds of Toomey prevailing in a full-fledged primary battled with Sen. Scottish Law? And what will Karl Rove say, and do, about this? Will it be hands-off, or will the force of the establishment come down for Specter?
